Chapter 219 Extra Chapter: Jiang Xin Twenty-Nine

Yanling took advantage of the weekend to go to the bars he used to frequent. His uncle used to give him a lot of pocket money, and he was treated like royalty at the bars. This time, he planned to work at the bars to support himself.

To his surprise, the bar owners all shook their heads and refused when they heard his request. It wasn't that their bar didn't have students working there, but those students were honest and well-behaved, and they never caused any trouble. They were also warm and polite to the customers.

Forget about Yanling. He always looks down on people and thinks he's someone important. If you asked him to serve tea and wine, he'd be fighting with the guests every day.

Yanling didn't understand. When she came to visit before, the boss was quite polite to her and spoke in a friendly tone. Why did they change their attitude as soon as she mentioned wanting to work there?

After visiting several bars, Yanling finally realized that these people looked down on him and were unwilling to help him even though they knew he was short of money.

He had no choice but to lower his expectations and go to the last company. Fortunately, the boss agreed to let him work there, but the conditions he offered were very harsh. There was no base salary, only commission, and how much he could earn depended entirely on himself.

Yan Ling quickly agreed. He was quite confident in his appearance. Not to brag, but back in school, many young girls were attracted to his looks, and he was no problem dealing with the older women in bars.

He put on his waiter's uniform and started working that very night. The boss didn't expect Yanling to be so popular, and many people ordered his dish.

Yan Ling impatiently served drinks to several female customers. The middle-aged women pointed at him and laughed heartily, seemingly saying something to him. Yan Ling put down the drinks and left the booth without looking back.

He had only worked there for two days, and his daily income was quite good. Even he himself did not expect that, despite his sour face, many people would specifically request his services.

"This little brother is really interesting; he doesn't seem like the kind of person who will listen to others."

"Yeah, usually the people we encounter are either obsequious to us or avoid us like the plague. Unlike him, he's so cold and aloof, it's really intriguing!"

After they finished speaking, they called Yanling over to order some drinks. One of the plump middle-aged women put her hand on Yanling's hand and said ambiguously, "Handsome young man, come and have a few drinks with us."

"Auntie! I'm still so young!"

Yan Ling raised her head arrogantly and replied disdainfully.

These women were initially interested in him, finding his cold demeanor quite cool and different from the other waiters. However, they never expected him to be so ungrateful, calling them "aunties"!

One of them stood up and waved, signaling another waiter to come over.

One of the waiters was very observant; he immediately ran up to the women and sweetly called them "sister."

The laughter grew louder when they heard him address him, and they all took out money from their bags to tip him.

Yanling, standing to the side, said angrily, "You're disgusting! You have no backbone! Who knows where their money comes from!"

Just then, the music stopped, and everyone present heard his suggestive remark.

The woman in the lead said to the waiter, "Go and call your manager!"

The manager listened to what had just happened with a frown the whole time. He had been in this industry for a long time and had experienced a lot. He could understand Yanling's sarcastic remarks. Who among them hadn't spoken ill of customers behind their backs?

However, his biggest mistake was saying it in front of the guests; it was undoubtedly a slap in the face to them.

They're in the service industry; they rely on customers for their livelihood. How could they afford to offend their bread and butter?

By the time the manager arrived, Yanling was no longer there. He apologized to the guests with an apologetic smile on his face. This wasn't a sister, this was a rich woman!

The woman in the lead is known for her generosity; Yanling has missed a chance to make a fortune.

"I'm so sorry about tonight. That waiter was new and didn't know any better. Please don't take it personally with a rough guy like him. Here's what we'll do: your bill is waived tonight as our apology."

He stopped his wandering thoughts and addressed the distinguished guests.

"Do we look like we're short of money? We came here to have fun, and this is the service you've provided! Did I pay money to come here and get treated like this?!"

The manager cursed Yan Ling inwardly for being such a troublemaker, making him apologize here. He shamelessly asked, "So, what do you think?"

"Go and find that brat. I want to hear his apology and make him drink all the wine on the table."

"this......"

"What? You can't even make him apologize? It seems you don't welcome us sisters here."

"Alright, I'll go find him right away! Please wait a moment."

After the manager finished speaking, he left. He planned to find the person first to apologize to the customer, and then let him have a couple of beers. After all, the person was still a student, and he couldn't really make him drink them all.

To my surprise, I couldn't find him after searching for a long time. After asking around, I found out that Yanling had already left work.

The manager was furious, but the customer was still waiting for an apology and he didn't have time to cause trouble for him. He could only deal with the immediate situation first.

Yanling took the tips he had earned over the past two days back to school, only to be woken up by his roommates while still asleep the next day.

"Get up! Wake up! There are pictures of you everywhere outside..."

Yanling rubbed her eyes and got up. Photos? What photos?

After he slowly got dressed and washed up, almost everyone in the school saw the photo of Yanling drinking with someone. In the photo, several middle-aged women were sitting in front of him. The angle of the photo was very tricky, making it look like Yanling was kneeling on the ground pouring drinks for others.

By the time Yanling discovered it, it was too late. He stood angrily in front of the notice board and roared, "Who did this! Who did this!"

A classmate ran up to him and said, "Yanling, the director wants to see you."

Yan Ling was taken aback. The director knew about it too? Did he call him in to criticize him?

He slowly walked into the director's office. "Director, what do you want to see me about?"

"You've probably seen the photos posted outside. The impact this has had is extremely negative, so the school has decided to suspend you from school."

"Director! I don't know how my photo ended up in the school, and that's not even true!"

"But you work at a bar, that's a fact, isn't it? Fine, I don't want to hear your explanation, get out."

Yan Ling wandered aimlessly through the campus and ran into Zhang Dan, who was swaggering around. He rushed up to her, grabbed her hand, and asked, "Did you do this?"

"Yeah! Don't you like hanging out with older women? I'll help you. Once you get expelled from school, you can happily go work at a bar."

Just as Yan Ling was about to hit her, Zhang Dan screamed, "Don't come any closer! Please! Don't hit me, I have no money!"

The students around him cast disdainful glances at him. Yanling glared at Zhang Dan hatefully, then turned and ran away.

Zhang Dan muttered to herself, "Ha, this is what happens when you disobey me!"
