She ordered a bowl of spicy hot pot and sat stiffly at an empty table near Yan Ling. He Wan glanced at her and asked, "Do you know that person? Why is he sitting next to us?"
Yan Ling had already spotted Li Yunong, and he said nonchalantly, "She's an old-fashioned girl in our class. Don't worry, all she does is study. Right, Li the Honest?"
When Li Yunong heard the nickname he called out, she slowly turned around and ignored him.
"See? I told you she's a bookworm, all she knows is studying. There's something wrong with that."
After saying that, he exaggeratedly pointed to his head. Seeing this, He Wan lowered her guard and continued, "Do you have any way to persuade Jiang Xin? Why don't you invite her out to dinner so I can meet her and talk to her in person?"
Yanling thought for a moment and nodded: "Okay, then I'll call her out, and you can talk to her yourself."
The two agreed on a time and place, and Yanling made a few more sarcastic remarks to Li Yunong before leaving.
