Chapter 246 Extra Chapter: Jiang Xin Fifty-Six

This was the second text message Jiang Ru received regarding Yan Ling's arrest. The first message, sent two days prior, read: "Yan Ling is in danger. Come immediately."

The address was also attached, and Jiang Ru assumed it was a scam text message, thinking to herself, "These people are so unprofessional; they don't even bother to find out the details."

She didn't take the text message seriously, and naturally wouldn't go to that address.

Today I received another text message saying Yanling is in danger. Could it be true?

She dialed Yanling's number with skepticism, but the phone was switched off.

After putting down her phone and thinking for a moment, she called He Wan again, only to receive the same message: "The number you dialed is currently switched off."

Jiang Ru was getting restless. What was going on with these two people? Why did they both turn off their phones at the same time?

Where are the children?

She rushed to the rented house to check on her child, only to find that the child was not home, the house was in a mess, and the child's belongings were missing.

After sitting in the rented room for a while, Jiang Ru gritted her teeth, took out her phone, and called the man.

"Hey, are you busy? It's like this... Yes, that child's phone is off right now, and I can't reach him. He's still my child, I can't just ignore him, can I?"

Okay, I'll wait for your message.

Jiang Ru hung up the phone and waited for the man to reply.

**

Yan Ling was unaware that He Wan had been released. He was locked in a small dark room and couldn't even find anyone to curse at.

When he saw the tightly closed door being opened, he breathed a sigh of relief. When he was first locked up, Yanling was indeed very panicked, especially when he heard that those people were going to sell him to northern Myanmar. He was so scared that he didn't sleep all night and sat up with his eyes open all night.

Upon reflection, he realized that these people were just trying to scare him. He didn't believe they would actually dare to do anything to him; after all, this is a society governed by law!

As soon as Yan Ling saw someone enter, he immediately raised his voice and shouted, "What are you doing! Did He Wan order you to do this! Let me tell you, illegal imprisonment is against the law, release me right now!"

The person who came was none other than Fu Er, whom Shu Yuqing had once talked about. Back then, because of his wife, the Fu family became a laughing stock in high society.

After divorcing that woman, the Fu family held this charity auction in an attempt to salvage their reputation.

Unexpectedly, this arrogant young man inside caused all the trouble. Fu Er didn't want to imagine how outsiders would laugh at the Fu family. He wanted to make this person pay the price!

There were no lights in the room, so Yanling couldn't see the sinister expression on Fu Er's face. He continued to provoke her: "You wouldn't happen to be He Wan's lover too, would you? What, you want to stand up for her? Let me tell you, she's a woman I don't want. You treat trash I don't want like a treasure?"

Yan Ling became more and more excited as he spoke. He rushed to the door and tried to run out, but when he saw a row of burly men in black suits standing in the doorway, he stopped abruptly and tried to reach out and grab Fu Er.

Before she could even touch the man's clothes, Yan Ling was firmly held down. Fu Er sneered, took the gloves handed to him by his subordinate, and walked straight into the house. Yan Ling was also dragged in forcefully.

The room lights suddenly turned on, and Yanling, blinded by the light, squeezed her eyes shut, still shouting defiantly, "Let me out! Let me out!"

Fu Er signaled his men to lift the man up, then gathered his strength and kicked him in the stomach.

A scream came from inside the house. Yan Ling's face contorted in pain for a moment, and he finally saw the face of the person who hit him.

He secretly vowed that he would repay this person tenfold for the insults he had inflicted upon him!

Yan Ling had no idea what it meant that these people were willing to let him see their true faces.

The small, dark room was filled with mournful screams, but the men in black standing at the door didn't even flinch, as if they hadn't heard a sound.

Fu Er kicked Yan Ling, who was lying like a dead dog, with the tip of his shoe, then turned to his men and ordered, "Shave his head and send him away."

"Second Master, this man has tattoos!"

The person speaking was so excited that their voice changed.

The others curiously followed the man's gaze, and then their expressions all changed.

"Second Master, this person's hobbies are too peculiar."

Even Fu Er, who was used to seeing big scenes, looked speechless.

"Since he likes this style, let's carve a few words on his face as a gift from me."
