Within a few days, Yan Ling discovered Jiang Xin's secret. His face darkened, and his eyes turned cold: "Is it that Miss Jiang can't get used to the food that ordinary people like us eat?"
"No, I didn't."
Jiang Xin lowered her head and argued softly.
Today is Christmas Day, and Yanling suddenly decided to pick Jiang Xin up from get off work. In order to give her a surprise, he didn't tell her that he was going to pick her up.
To his surprise, he saw Jiang Xin leave the company and go into a nearby restaurant. After sitting down, she skillfully started ordering food.
Yan Ling was furious; he felt betrayed!
Jiang Xin actually dared to lie to him! She said she was working overtime, but it turns out she just didn't want to go home and eat noodles!
Today is Christmas, and Jiang Xin wanted to go home early to be with Yan Ling, so she hurriedly finished her meal and rushed home.
As soon as I stepped outside, I saw Yanling standing at the door with a cold face.
It seemed he had been waiting at the door for a while. Jiang Xin was caught red-handed, looking embarrassed and a little ashamed.
Anger flared in Yan Ling's eyes, and he loudly rebuked Jiang Xin: "No? Then why did you lie to me that you were working overtime? Did you mean you were eating out behind my back when you were working overtime?!"
Jiang Xin, you actually lied to me!
Jiang Xin turned pale after being reprimanded by Yan Ling. She dared not argue and tried to reach out to Yan Ling, but he slapped her away, and Jiang Xin, caught off guard, was pushed to the ground.
Today is a holiday, and there are many people on the street. Seeing Jiang Xin sitting on the ground in a sorry state, several kind girls went up to help her.
One of the girls couldn't stand Yanling's behavior, so she went up to him and argued with him, telling him that he couldn't treat his girlfriend like that, and how could he be so rude to her?
Yan Ling was not one to listen to reason. The moment he heard someone dare to criticize him, his expression changed instantly, and he glared at her with hostility: "What's it to you? Is it any of your business what I do with her? Watch out or I'll skin you alive!"
A commotion erupted among the people around, who seemed surprised that someone could utter such outrageous words in a harmonious society.
A young boy stepped forward, a head taller than Yanling, and looked down at him: "You're wrong to say that. You should help those in need, but you're bullying a woman in the street and you think you're right?"
Yan Ling glanced at him disdainfully, then yelled at Jiang Xin, "Did you tell them I bullied you?"
Jiang Xin's face flushed red instantly. She had never been so humiliated in public before. Coupled with Yan Ling's relentless pressure, Jiang Xin swayed precariously, tears welling in her eyes, looking utterly pitiful.
Bystanders condemned Yanling's behavior, and many people were filming it with their phones.
Yan Ling grew increasingly angry, and he grabbed Jiang Xin, intending to leave.
To everyone's surprise, most of the people present were young people. How could they stand idly by? Several tall young boys surrounded Yan Ling, preventing him from taking Jiang Xin away.
Yan Ling looked around and saw that everyone blocking his way was much taller than him, which made him even angrier. In his rage, he didn't pay attention to the strength of his hands.
Jiang Xin let out a scream, and Yan Ling realized that he had almost crushed her wrist.
The onlookers became even more certain that he was a domestic abuser, so more and more people stopped Yanling.
Yan Ling turned around and glanced at Jiang Xin, his cold gaze sending chills down Jiang Xin's spine.
Did you tell them yourself that I bullied you?
Yanling said these words through gritted teeth.
Seeing his anger, Jiang Xin instinctively shook her head frantically, then blurted out, "No, you didn't bully me. It was my fault, I shouldn't have lied to you."
Jiang Xin didn't explain the reason, and everyone thought she had been caught cheating. If they knew it was just because of a dinner, they would probably roll their eyes in anger.
Seeing that the people in question had no objections, the passersby didn't want to cause any more trouble, so the people blocking the way dispersed to make way for them.
Yan Ling, with a gloomy expression, pulled Jiang Xin away.
