"Ask the glass factory."
"I know that. My sister-in-law works at a glass factory."
The driver immediately replied with a smile, "When she came to my house for dinner before, she told my wife several times, complaining for a long time. She said that her glass factory hasn't paid anyone for almost half a year!"
"Then for the past two months or so, I haven't had any work."
"Of the more than 500 people in the factory, only about 100 actually work."
"The rest of you, take a break."
The driver muttered, "The boss hasn't informed us of the specific start date."
"I reckon this glass factory is probably really not going to make a comeback."
"I see."
Lin Sen's gaze sharpened upon hearing this, a hint of worry in his eyes. If the Wucheng Glass Factory went bankrupt, he would have nowhere to source glass beer bottles.
For Lin Sen, if it were a glass beer bottle, that would be a huge problem.
His brewery will be unable to open for business!
"Hey bro, what are you doing at the glass factory?"
The coachman asked suspiciously.
"I'm planning to buy a batch of glass products."
Lin Sen answered truthfully with a wry smile.
"Buying glassware?"
"Judging from your accent, you're not a local, are you?"
The coachman immediately looked at Lin Sen suspiciously.
"no."
"I'm from Ningbo," Lin Sen replied casually.
"Ningbo?"
"I remember there's a glass factory in your Ningbo city, quite a large one." The driver asked in surprise, "Why are you coming all the way to Wuzhou to buy things instead of going to a factory in your own city?"
"To be honest, our Wuzhou Glass Factory had a pretty good business a few years ago."
"Business has been getting worse and worse in recent years."
"The root cause is that the glass factories in your city have taken away most of our business!"
The driver muttered and shook his head: "I heard that the glass products produced by your Ningbo Glass Factory are not only cheaper, but also of better quality than those produced by our Wuzhou Glass Factory."
"So most of our customers went to the Ningbo Glass Factory to buy their products!"
"I'll take a look at them all."
Lin Sen smiled but did not explain in detail.
"It's fallen over."
Half an hour later, the driver took Lin Sen to the Wuzhou Glass Factory.
"Okay."
Lin Sen smiled, took out two yuan to pay the bill, and then looked at the Wuzhou Glass Factory.
The storefront is quite large, and there are security guards patrolling at the entrance.
Lin Sen was not surprised by this, because that's how state-owned factories are. Even if they have a lot of internal problems, they always present a glamorous image on the surface, making it seem like they're thriving and doing very well.
"They're not open tonight, so you'll have to come back tomorrow."
Lin Sen glanced at the closed gates of the Wuzhou Glass Factory, shook his head helplessly, and then walked towards the pedestrian street outside the factory.
I'm planning to find a small hotel to stay in for the night, and then go to the glass factory to ask about it tomorrow.
A dozen minutes later, Lin Sen, having checked into his room, left the small hotel, intending to find a roadside restaurant to have a quick meal.
"Huh."
Just then, Lin Sen happened to see a young man in casual clothes swagger out of the glass factory, then plop down in a roadside restaurant and order a bowl of noodles.
"He had just spoken to the security guard at the glass factory."
"Then, in the middle of the night, he openly walked out of the glass factory again."
"This is clearly the child of the glass factory's management!"
Lin Sen immediately laughed: "After all, ordinary workers can't enter the factory at night. The security bureau will pull them aside for inspection and interrogation."
"To prevent items from being smuggled out of the factory!"
So Lin Sen strode directly toward the young man with the crew cut.
"Hey bro, want a smoke?"
Lin Sen took out a box of peony flowers and handed one to the young man with the crew cut.
Who are you?
The young man with the crew cut took the peony and looked at Lin Sen suspiciously.
"Boss, bring two good dishes and a bottle of wine."
Lin Sen first waved to the restaurant owner, ordered some good wine and dishes, and then looked at the young man with the crew cut: "Brother, judging from your appearance, you know the glass factory very well?"
"Nonsense, I grew up in a glass factory, of course I know it well."
"What do you want to do!?"
The young man with the crew cut looked at Lin Sen with great suspicion and exhaled a smoke ring.
After all, as the old saying goes, "Those who offer unsolicited kindness are either treacherous or thieves."
Therefore, he was certainly very wary of Lin Sen, who came uninvited.
"Brother, I'm from out of town and I'd like to buy a batch of glass products from your glass factory."
Lin Sen grinned and said, "That's why I asked you to inquire about how our glass factory is doing lately, since you seem to know a lot about it."
"Could you offer some kind of internal pricing?"
"Ha ha."
"Let's drink, let's drink."
As he spoke, Lin Sen poured a glass of wine for the young man with the crew cut.
"Are you here to buy something from the glass factory?"
"Really?!"
Upon hearing Lin Sen's words, the young man with the crew cut immediately looked at Lin Sen with great excitement, his eyes lighting up.
"Is it even possible that it's fake?"
Lin Sen laughed and said, "As long as the price is right, I will definitely buy it!"
"Come on, brother, let me toast you!"
In order to extract accurate inside information about the glass factory, Lin Sen raised his glass and toasted the young man with the crew cut.
Strangers want to build a closer relationship.
That definitely involves cigarettes and alcohol!
"Dry!"
The young man with the crew cut immediately downed the liquor in his glass in one gulp.
Then, after only three or five drinks, he became dizzy.
