Li Ling'er stopped talking to Su Jinyue and rushed towards her. She wanted to kill her and take back the Golden Leaf Realm.
Su Jinyue stood there motionless, with a hint of sarcasm on her lips.
Before Li Ling'er could even reach Su Jinyue, she sensed something was amiss. She found herself growing heavier, as if she were sinking into a quagmire, and her spiritual energy was rapidly draining away. What was going on?
"I forgot to remind you, this is my dimension. Every step you take absorbs a bit of the spiritual energy in your body until you are broken down and oxidized by it, becoming nutrients within it," Su Jinyue said calmly. Even if Li Ling'er stood still, she wouldn't last a single day in the Golden Leaf Realm.
"You're lying!" Li Ling'er's eyes widened and she looked at Su Jinyue unwillingly. She wanted to control the Golden Leaf Realm, not be absorbed by it.
He lifted his foot with great effort and took two steps closer to Su Jinyue. He found that the speed at which the immortal power in his body was draining away had accelerated again. "I swear I'll never bother you again," Li Ling'er promised. The immortal energy within her had been completely absorbed by the Golden Leaf Realm, and now she was no different from an ordinary person. She wanted nothing more than to be alive.
Su Jinyue ignored Li Ling'er and waved her hand, instantly dissolving her into nothingness. She would never let go of anyone who posed a threat to her.
