Su Jinyue, Zhan Yihan and the Qin brothers and sisters were chatting and drinking tea in the yard.
A servant came over and respectfully reported to Qin Yunfei, "Young Master! Young Master Yang is here."
"Why is he here again?" Qin Chuqin frowned unhappily. Ever since they met at the pot-fighting arena that day, Yang Sheng had been coming to her house every day for the past two days. She found him annoying whenever she saw him.
Qin Yunfei smiled and glanced at Qin Chuqin, "Let him in." His father had already decided to form an alliance with the Yang family and marry Qin'er to Yang Sheng, but he hadn't had time to tell Qin'er about it yet. Yang Sheng smiled and nodded, then walked over to Qin Chuqin and sat down.

"Qin'er." Qin Yunfei called out calmly. Even if she disliked Yang Sheng, Qin'er shouldn't treat him like this.
Qin Chuqin snorted and turned away, ignoring Yang Sheng. She knew her attitude was bad, but she didn't know why she just didn't like Yang Sheng.
Yang Sheng smiled indifferently, "It's okay, the second lady was just joking with me." He had already learned from his father that the two families would announce the news of their marriage on the day of Qin Chuqin's birthday party.
Qin Chuqin rolled her eyes at Yang Sheng. She wasn't in the mood to joke with him.
Yang Sheng smiled faintly and looked at Su Jinyue and Zhan Yihan. "Su Xianyou, I brought some immortal herbs here today. I wonder if you have time to help me refine a few Level 6 Meteorite Pills." His father had asked him to test Su Jinyue's abilities and confirm whether she was truly a Level 7 Immortal Pill Master. After much deliberation, he decided that having Su Jinyue refine the pills would be the best way to test the waters. If she could refine a Level 6 Meteorite Pill with a high success rate and excellent quality, then she was very likely a Level 7 Immortal Pill Master, and the family could safely entrust her with the immortal herbs needed to refine the Lingyi Pill.
Su Jinyue shook her head and smiled. "I haven't been in the mood to refine pills these days." She knew what Yang Sheng meant, but she had already made up her mind: she wouldn't help the Yang family refine the Lingyi Pill. She had agreed to help Yang Sheng because she was short of the necessary immortal herbs and out of respect for the Qin siblings. Now that he had refused, there was absolutely no way she was going to help him refine pills again.
"Friend Su, I brought three parts of the immortal herbs needed to make the Meteorite Pill. I'll only take one part and leave the rest to you. I'll also pay for the cost of refining the pill," Yang Sheng said. He knew the rules of the immortal pill master.
Su Jinyue still shook her head, "You'd better seek help from someone else."
