After Li Dabao finished speaking, he knew he had said something wrong again. Teacher Song hadn't been back for ten years. How could he know if his home was still in the same place?
"Teacher Song's home is still in the same place. Teacher Song, I forgot to tell you, your son Song Ziyuan is now a student in my class. He's a very good student and a class leader," Lin Xiaohua said. When she first learned that Song Ziyuan was Teacher Song's child, she was overjoyed. She often visited Teacher Song's home to see his wife and his parents. Teacher Song disappeared because of her, so naturally, she wanted to do her best to make amends.
"Yeah." Song Qingfeng nodded with satisfaction. He had seen Ziyuan in the mirror before, and he was a good kid.
"Teacher Song, I'll pick you up tomorrow morning." Li Dabao said with a smile.
"Okay." Song Qingfeng nodded. He still had to make some arrangements before taking his family away, so it would be nice to spend some time with them. After this departure, he probably wouldn't be returning to Earth.
Song Qingfeng and Lin Xiaohua walked out of the gold shop.
"Teacher Song, why don't we go eat first and then go shopping." Lin Xiaohua suggested. It was already noon, and Teacher Song must be hungry.
Song Qingfeng nodded and said, "Then I'll find a restaurant to eat something." He just wanted to buy good things and go home early.
Lin Xiaohua thought for a while and said, "Then let's go to Zhang's Restaurant. Zhang's Restaurant is run by Teacher Zhang Li's son and daughter-in-law. Do you still remember Teacher Zhang Li? She used to be a Chinese teacher." The county town is the closest to their village, and many people in their village now work in the county town.
"I remember." Song Qingfeng smiled and nodded. Returning here, he saw many familiar faces and recalled many things from the past.
"I wonder if Teacher Zhang is helping out in the store today. If she knew you were back, she'd be so happy," Lin Xiaohua said with a smile. She couldn't wait to let everyone know that Teacher Song was back and that nothing had happened to her.
When I walked into Zhang's Restaurant, I saw that the business was very good. The waiters were busy clearing tables, serving dishes and greeting customers.
"Teacher Lin, you're here." Seeing Lin Xiaohua, a waiter came up to greet her with a smile.
Lin Xiaohua smiled and nodded, "Is Teacher Zhang in the store today?"
"No, the boss said she is at home taking care of her grandson." The waiter said with a smile.
Lin Xiaohua nodded somewhat disappointedly and turned to look at Song Qingfeng, "Teacher Song, let's go sit over there."
"Yeah." Song Qingfeng responded and walked to an empty table with Lin Xiaohua and sat down.
Lin Xiaohua picked up the menu on the table and handed it to Song Qingfeng, "Teacher Song, take a look at what you want to order."
"Just watch over me, I can do anything." Song Qingfeng said. After reaching the state of fasting, he rarely ate.
"Okay, then let's order a dish of three fresh vegetables, a dish of mapo tofu, a dish of sweet and sour pork, and a bowl of tomato and egg soup. Teacher Song, do you think this is enough?" Lin Xiaohua casually ordered a few signature dishes of Zhang's Restaurant.
"Yeah." Song Qingfeng nodded.
"That's all," Lin Xiaohua said to the waiter. She had originally planned to go and say hello to Teacher Zhang's son and daughter-in-law, but when she realized that Teacher Song wasn't familiar with them, she gave up the idea.
After lunch, Song Qingfeng went to a nearby shopping mall accompanied by Lin Xiaohua.
Apart from buying a set of clothes for himself, Song Qingfeng bought all the other things for his family. He knew that he could not make up for the debt he owed them over the years, but he would spend the rest of his life making up for his family, and he would never let them suffer any grievances again.
