"Is this possible? Didn't Qingfeng tell us not to let anyone else know?" Song Qingjiang asked in embarrassment.
"She's my mother, not someone else's. Besides, we're the only ones here, so who would tell anyone?" Zhou Qi glared at Song Qingjiang. Song Qingfeng had made such a miraculous claim about the medicine; if it was truly as he claimed, it should be able to cure her mother's illness.
"Okay then." Song Qingjiang nodded, walked forward and grabbed Zhou's mother who was smashing things.
"Ah!" Zhou's mother screamed and struggled.
Zhou Qi took out the medicine and walked forward. After trying several times, he still couldn't feed the medicine into Zhou's mother's mouth. "Qingjiang, quickly open my mother's mouth."
"I don't have any hands now, Dad, come over and help me." Song Qingjiang controlled Zhou's mother with both hands and couldn't free his hands at all.
"Here I am." Father Zhou stood up from the sofa and walked forward. He saw Zhou Qi holding a medicine he had never seen before. "What is this medicine?"
"This is a special medicine. My cousin gave it to me. He said it can cure Mom's illness." Song Qingjiang spoke first. He had promised Brother Qingfeng that he would not tell anyone, even if that person was his father-in-law.
"Oh!" Zhou's father nodded in understanding, reached out and grabbed his wife's chin and squeezed it hard.
Zhou Qi seized the opportunity and put the medicine into Zhou's mother's mouth.
Song Qingjiang didn't dare to let go. He looked at Zhou's mother who was struggling, and his heart was full of anticipation. He hoped that the medicine given by Brother Qingfeng would really work. If his mother-in-law's illness was cured, then he and Qiqi would no longer have to worry about it.
