Zhao Yuming was about to push the door and enter the ward again when he saw Su Jinyue and Chen Zhenghai walking towards him, talking and laughing. After thinking for a moment, he walked towards Su Jinyue.
Seeing Zhao Yuming coming towards her, Su Jinyue frowned.
"Chairman Su! Please help me persuade Ye Zi. I am truly repentant this time. I will always treat her well in the future." Zhao Yuming promised.
"What does this have to do with me?" Su Jinyue curled her lips coldly, not even glancing at Zhao Yuming again. She and Chen Zhenghai walked past him and headed forward. How could she possibly sympathize with such a scumbag?
"Chairman Su! Aren't you Ye Zi's best friend? Please do me this favor. I promise to treat Ye Zi wholeheartedly in the future. If you dare to break your promise, you will be struck by lightning." Zhao Yuming swore.
Su Jinyue stopped and looked at Zhao Yuming sarcastically, "Go outside and swear again. If nothing happens, I will persuade Ye Zi to forgive you, how about that?"
"Okay!" Zhao Yuming's face immediately lit up with surprise. Isn't it just a vow? This is easier than eating or drinking. All he wanted now was to remarry Ye Zi and regain control of the company.
Su Jinyue nodded, walked forward, pushed open the door of the ward, and said to the Tian family inside: "Aunt Tian, you can be discharged from the hospital, but before you are discharged, let's go see a play first."
"Good show?" The Tian family members walked out of the ward with a puzzled look on their faces.
Su Jinyue smiled and nodded, "I promised Zhao Yuming that if he goes outside and swears that nothing is wrong, I will help him persuade Ye Zi."
Upon hearing this, the Tian family looked at Su Jinyue in surprise. They had never heard of someone swearing something that could lead to trouble. Wasn't this clearly an attempt to help Zhao Yuming?
"Let's go, let's go out." Su Jinyue didn't explain much and walked outside.
Chen Zhenghai raised his eyebrows and followed Su Jinyue with anticipation. Since Su Jinyue said she was going to watch a show, there must be something good to watch.
Zhao Yuming saw that Su Jinyue kept her word, and he felt confident and walked out with ease. He had not expected Su Jinyue to be so easy to talk to.
The Tian family looked at each other in confusion and followed.
The group came to the open space outside the hospital. Su Jinyue looked at Zhao Yuming and pointed to the open space in the middle. "You swear there. We'll stay away from it." She turned to the Tian family and Chen Zhenghai and said.
Although the Tian family didn't understand what Su Jinyue meant, they still took a few steps back as she said.
Chen Zhenghai smiled and took a few steps back.
"Let's start." After Su Jinyue said this, she also retreated to the side of the crowd.
When Zhao Yuming walked to the open space in the middle, he suddenly felt a little uneasy, but when he thought about how no one had ever gotten into trouble because of swearing, he gradually calmed down.
After glancing at Su Jinyue and the others, Zhao Yuming's gaze fell on Tian Ye. "Ye Zi, I really know I was wrong this time. I swear." He raised his hand. "From now on, I will only be good to you and you. I will never do anything to let you down again, or else I will be struck by lightning."
As soon as he finished speaking, he heard a loud "boom!", accompanied by a bright light falling from the sky. A bolt of lightning hit Zhao Yuming directly, making his whole body numb and almost fainting.
The Tian family and Chen Zhenghai opened their eyes wide in disbelief. They looked at Zhao Yuming, whose body was black and twitching from the lightning, and then looked at the cloudless, sunny sky. Where did that lightning come from?
