Chapter 258 Arresting People

Thinking of this, Guo Feng turned and walked outside.

"Xiaofeng, what are you doing?" Li Chun'e saw Guo Feng was about to go out, and quickly crawled in front of Guo Feng to stop him.

"I'll go open the door. The police will probably just check the situation and won't arrest you," Guo Feng consoled him. He had always seen gossiping people gossiping together, but he had never seen anyone arrested.

"Are you serious? I clearly heard the policeman say he wanted to detain me or something." Li Chun'e couldn't help but tremble when she thought of what the policeman said.

Guo Feng sighed, "I'll go and take a look. Don't worry, the police won't arrest anyone casually." How could he have such a troublesome mother!

When I opened the gate, I saw a policeman standing at the door.

"Comrade police officer! What can I do for you?" Guo Feng asked. Actually, he was still a little nervous.

"It's like this. We just received a report that someone insulted a public official. Please cooperate with our investigation with your family," said the police.

"Ah?" Guo Feng's heart skipped a beat. He hadn't expected things to become so serious. What should he do?

Guo Feng stepped aside to let the police into the room, "Comrade police! Excuse me, who is the public official?" Su Jinyue next door is too young to be a public official, but it is impossible for the police to lie.

"Doctor Su," the police officer said calmly. If their captain hadn't looked at Su Jinyue's ID and confirmed her identity, he wouldn't have believed there was such a young military doctor.

"Military...military doctor...the little girl who lives next door to us is a military doctor?" Guo Feng's eyes widened in disbelief. No wonder she could cure Aunt Wang. This time, his mother had really hit a wall.

The policeman walked into the house and sat down at the table. "How many people are there in your house now?"

"There are three of us: me, my mom, and my dad. My dad's gone to work," Guo Feng said. His family was once well-off, but his grandfather's opium addiction wiped out all the money, leaving only this old house. He didn't have any skills, and since he was too lazy to work, he just hung out at home.

The policeman nodded and pointed to a piece of white paper on the table. "Write the word 'bitch'."

"Okay." Guo Feng walked forward, picked up the pen and wrote two words crookedly.

The policeman took a look and said, "Go call your mother and ask her to write something too." Generally, young people would not do such boring things, except for children playing pranks or some elderly people with nothing to do.

"Okay." Guo Feng nodded, walked out of the main room and headed towards Li Chun'e's room.

When I walked into the room, I saw that there was no one inside.

"Mom! Mom!" Guo Feng called twice, but no one responded. He was about to go out when he heard some movement in the closet. He walked forward and opened the closet, only to see Li Chun'e huddled in the closet and shivering.

"Mom, why are you hiding here?" He knew she was afraid, but this kind of thing could be avoided for a while, not forever, and it had to be resolved. He believed that Su Jinyue was not the kind of person who would not forgive others even if they were right. As long as they apologized sincerely, she would definitely forgive his mother.

"I'm scared..." Li Chun'e said in a trembling voice. She felt cold all over at the thought of being arrested.

"The police officer has already said he's just here to check if anyone's being arrested." Guo Feng sighed inwardly. She kept hiding like this, and nothing was getting resolved.

"Really...really?" Li Chun'e asked with some disbelief.

"Really." Guo Feng nodded.

"The police are really not here to arrest me?" Li Chun'e still found it a little unconvinced.

"Really? Why would I lie to you? If you keep hiding like this, the police will really catch you." Guo Feng said. The longer things are delayed, the more serious they will become.

"Then...then I'll come out, Ouch! My legs...my legs are cramping..." Li Chun'e screamed in pain.

Seeing Guo Feng dragging the frightened Li Chun'e over, the policeman immediately understood what was going on. He pointed to the paper in front of him and said, "Come here and write two words on this paper."

"Oh!" When Li Chun'e heard that the police just asked her to write something, her heart slowly calmed down.

I walked forward and wrote the words as the police said.

The policeman glanced at the words on the paper, smiled, stood up and walked outside.

"Oh my god! I'm so scared!" Li Chun'e sat down limply after seeing the police leave. This time she was really scared.

Guo Feng closed the gate and walked back to the main room. He saw Li Chun'e sitting there with her hands clasped together, praying to the sky. She kept mumbling and sighed, "Mom, let's go next door and apologize now."

"What are you apologizing for?" Li Chun'e asked in surprise.

"Of course I'm apologizing for your actions. You wrote so many insulting words on someone else's door, so you should apologize," Guo Feng said. She must have thought that the matter was over.

"I'm not going." Everything is over, why should she go?

"You don't have to go, then just wait for the police to come and arrest you." Guo Feng said angrily. If she wasn't his mother, he wouldn't bother with her.

"Didn't the police leave?" Li Chun'e looked at Guo Feng in confusion.

"The police are investigating. If they find out it was you who did it, do you think you can get away with it?" How could he have such a confused mother?

"Then the police are going to arrest me again?" Li Chun'e panicked again. She finally understood why the police wanted her to write.

Not long after Su Jinyue finished dinner, three policemen came to her house.

The police captain showed the investigation results and said, "A total of seven people were found to be involved in this incident, but the culprit is Li Chun'e, who lives next door to you. Do you plan to sue her?" If Li Chun'e is prosecuted, she will face criminal detention of up to three years. If not prosecuted, she will be detained for five days and fined 200 yuan.

"Just teach her a lesson," Su Jinyue said, her lips curled. She just wanted to make Li Chun'e suffer a little so that she wouldn't dare to mess with her again.

"I understand!" The police captain nodded, stood up, and walked out of Su Jinyue's house with two of his men and headed next door.

When Guo Mugen returned home and heard about this, he was so angry that he almost vomited blood. But his wife was his, and he had no other choice but to get angry.

The family of three was about to go next door to apologize when there was a knock on the door.

Li Chun'e was startled and grabbed Guo Mugen's hand in fear. "It must be the police coming to arrest me, old man. What should I do? What should I do?"

"I told you to stop gossiping about other people, but you didn't listen. Now you're scared." Guo Mugen shook off Li Chun'e's hand and walked outside. He could only hope that the person outside wasn't a police officer.

When he opened the gate and saw three policemen outside, Guo Mugen knew it was too late.
