Chapter 474: Chance Encounter

"Mom, I don't want it anymore. You can make it for Jinyue." Qin Xiaoyun said. If she made more, her wardrobe would be full.

"Aunt Zhan, you can make it yourself. I have plenty of clothes." Su Jinyue said with a smile. Last time, Yi Han almost bought the entire counter.

"This is a gift from me, you can't refuse it. Make one for each of you. If anyone refuses, I'll be angry." Wang Meizhen said with a deliberately stern face. They were the ones who bought clothes for her, and this was the first time she bought clothes for them.

"Thank you, mother!"

"Thank you, Aunt Zhan!" Qin Xiaoyun and Su Jinyue said in unison. How could they refuse after hearing what she said?

After buying the cloth, the four of them continued to walk forward.

When they were about to turn the corner, a little boy bumped into them.

Su Jinyue quickly pulled Qin Xiaoyun aside and looked at the little boy. She saw that the little boy had dark skin and was skinny, but his eyes were very bright.

"How do you walk?" Wang Meizhen asked angrily. If she really knocked Xiaoyun down, it would be a big deal.

The little boy took a few steps back in fear, then turned around and ran away.

"There are so many children like this now. They steal whenever they can, and rob when they can't. Many have lost limbs, which is really pitiful," said Fang Shuyi, who lives in town and has encountered them several times.

"These children must have been trafficked. There's a gang behind them controlling them," Su Jinyue said. There were particularly many such trafficked children in the 1990s. Some had broken limbs and begged on the streets, while others held bouquets of flowers and forced passersby to buy them, refusing to let them go unless they bought.

She once read a report in the newspaper that said a woman was walking on the street when a little girl rushed out and hugged her, calling her mother. The woman saw that it was really her daughter who had been abducted for two years, so she hugged the little girl and cried bitterly.

Just as the mother and daughter were crying, a man came out, slapped the woman in the face, and then took the little girl away. When the woman reacted, the man was nowhere to be seen.

Following the advice of someone on the road, the woman called the police. A few days later, she received news from the police that her daughter's body had been found in a stinking ditch.

When she saw the report, she was really angry and wanted to find all the traffickers. But at that time, she was just a weak woman, so how could she do that?

Thinking of this, Su Jinyue sent out her spiritual sense and followed the little boy. She was not a saint, but she found such behavior outrageous. She was a doctor, and saving lives was her duty. She was just trying to save people in a different way.

The little boy was seen running quickly into a dark alley after bumping into a passerby.

Deep in the alley, a middle-aged man was smoking. Seeing the little boy coming over, he took a strong drag on his cigarette, threw the butt on the ground, and stretched out his hand to the little boy, "Give it to me!"

The little boy took out a folded plastic bag from his pocket and handed it to the middle-aged man.

The middle-aged man took it, opened the plastic bag, and saw fifteen yuan inside. His eyes suddenly lit up and he patted the little boy's head in appreciation, "Well done!"

When the middle-aged man touched the little boy, his body trembled slightly and a look of fear appeared in his eyes.

The middle-aged man put the money in his pocket and said, "Take advantage of the market today to do some more business. I'll reward you with a piece of meat tonight."

The little boy nodded, turned and walked out of the alley. The moment he turned around, the fear in his eyes disappeared, and there was only deep hatred.

Walking out of the alley, the little boy returned to the market again, glanced at the crowd, and quickly locked on his target.

He stopped at the corner, waiting for the target to approach. The moment the target approached, he rushed out as fast as a nimble little wolf. Before the target could react, he had already bumped into the opponent, and then fled quickly like a frightened child.

Su Jinyue's lips curled up. This is an interesting little guy.

After a stroll around the market and lunch, Wang Meizhen and the other two chatted in a teahouse while Su Jinyue went to a nearby shopping mall alone to buy some clothes for her master.

Maybe it was because of the hot weather, there were not many people shopping in the mall.

At the counter, the waiters used electric fans if they had the conditions, and fanned themselves with hands if they didn't.

Su Jinyue came to a counter selling men's clothing and looked around.

"Comrade, do you want to buy a shirt or a sweatshirt? Is it for your partner? Or for your father?" the waiter came over and asked.

"Please help me get three medium-sized shirts in these three colors, and pants in these colors. Also, get three sweatshirts." Su Jinyue said as she pointed to the styles she liked.

"Okay, comrade!" The waiter smiled brightly. It was so hot and stuffy, she thought it would be like yesterday and closed.

After the waiter packed the clothes and she paid the bill, Su Jinyue walked out of the mall carrying the clothes. Although she was not afraid of the heat, the mall was indeed a bit stuffy.

"Doctor Su!" A surprised voice came from behind.

Su Jinyue felt the voice sounded familiar, so she stopped and turned to see Chen Cuilan. She had come to the market with Liu Daya and Wang Xiaofang when they met Chen Cuilan on the street. She had immediately recognized that she had ovarian disease. She hadn't expected to run into her again by such a coincidence.

"Dr. Su, do you still recognize me?" Chen Cuilan looked at Su Jinyue excitedly. After Su Jinyue treated her, her husband thought she was a fraud and dragged her to the hospital for a checkup. The results showed that she was fine, but she never met Su Jinyue again, nor did she have the chance to thank her. This incident became a source of worry for her. She never expected to meet her today.

"Aunt Chen, long time no see!" Su Jinyue smiled and nodded.

"Dr. Su, thank you for curing my illness. I've been looking for you, but I can't find any news about you." Chen Cuilan looked at Su Jinyue gratefully. She had been to the market several times, wondering if she would run into Su Jinyue again.

"You're welcome." Su Jinyue shook her head.

"Doctor Su, are you free now? I'd like to invite you to my home." Chen Cuilan looked at Su Jinyue expectantly. This time, she had finally met Doctor Su, and she had to thank her very much.

"Maybe next time. I came here with other people, and they're waiting for me at the teahouse." Su Jinyue declined. The incident had already passed. If she hadn't met Chen Cuilan today, she would have forgotten it long ago.
