Chapter 53 Poisoning

Feeling something wriggling at her feet, Su Jinyue turned to see a venomous snake slowly crawling up her ankle. Startled, she quickly swung her sickle at the snake. She knew it would likely be discovered, but if she didn't kill it, a bite from it would be enough to hurt her. And it would also likely lead to discovery, so she decided to take a gamble.

The venomous snake fell to the ground after being split in two by the sickle. Su Jinyue breathed a sigh of relief and turned to look in Su Yanxi's direction, only to find that he had disappeared. Where was he? Did he leave?

He stood up, intending to leave this troubled place as quickly as possible.

After taking two steps, a blue figure appeared in front of her, blocking her way.

Su Jinyue was startled and quickly took two steps back, looking at Su Yanxi warily.

"Who are you? Why are you hiding here?" Su Yanxi looked at Su Jinyue coldly. He had already discovered her. With her current strength, even if he was injured, it would be easy for him to kill her.

"I came to the mountain to collect herbs." Su Jinyue tightly gripped the sickle in her hand, her heart filled with anxiety. Was he going to kill her?

Su Yanxi glanced at the sickle in Su Jinyue's hand and the backpack on her back, "Are you from the nearby village?" For some reason, this girl gave him a familiar feeling, as if they had met before.

"Yeah." Su Jinyue nodded, thinking of various ways to escape.

"What's your name..." Su Yanxi was about to ask Su Jinyue's name and age when a sharp pain shot through his chest. His face paled, and he spat out a mouthful of black blood. He had just taken a healing pill, and with the efficacy of the Yigu elixir, his injuries should have healed in half an hour at most. But he hadn't expected the other party's knife to be poisoned. He had been too careless this time. If he had realized he was poisoned earlier, his internal energy could have easily forced the poison out. However, the poison had already entered his dantian, and he couldn't even use his internal energy.

When Su Jinyue saw Su Yanxi vomiting blood, she knew this was an opportunity and ran away immediately.

After running for a long time, Su Jinyue finally stopped, breathless. She turned around and looked behind her. Seeing that Su Yanxi hadn't caught up with her, she breathed a sigh of relief. It would be better to get down the mountain early.

After making the decision, Su Jinyue walked down the mountain. But for some reason, whenever she thought of the man in blue, she felt a sense of blockage in her heart, and she even felt a little worried about him.

After hesitating for a moment, he sighed, "Let me die." He turned around and ran towards Su Yanxi.

From a distance, Su Jinyue saw Su Yanxi lying on the ground.

He ran to Su Yanxi's side and saw that he had fainted. He shook his head and checked Su Yanxi's body with X-ray. "It turns out that he was poisoned."

Squatting down, taking off the backpack behind her and putting it aside, Su Jinyue reached out to untie Su Yanxi's clothes, and his strong chest and belly without a trace of fat appeared in front of her.

Su Jinyue felt her face getting hot. It was not that she had never seen a man's body before, but this man's body was too perfect, as perfect as a carefully carved statue, and was not inferior to Yi Han's at all.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, then opened his eyes again, took out the silver needles he carried with him from his arms, and quickly inserted them into various parts of Su Yanxi's body. Then he released his internal force to probe into Su Yanxi's meridians, slowly helping him force the poison into one place.

It took Su Jinyue a full hour to gather the poison in Su Yanxi's body, and then she reached out and slapped Su Yanxi's chest hard.

"Puff!" Su Yanxi spat out a large mouthful of black blood again.

Su Jinyue wiped the sweat off her face, took out a piece of Royal Blood Grass from her backpack, crushed it with a rock, and put it into Su Yanxi's mouth. Royal Blood Grass has the effect of clearing away heat and detoxifying, which is very beneficial to Su Yanxi now.

After finishing all this, Su Jinyue stood up, put on her backpack and prepared to go down the mountain. She caught a glimpse of a palm-sized black purse embroidered with red spider lilies next to Su Yanxi. It must have fallen out when she was helping him undress.

She bent down to pick up the purse, held it in her hand and looked at it for a while. If she thought it was good, she put it in her pocket and looked at Su Yanxi who was still unconscious on the ground. "This is medical expenses." She had already helped him force the poison out, and he would wake up soon. It would be better for her to leave early. Otherwise, if he woke up, she would be in danger.

Not long after Su Jinyue left, Su Yanxi woke up. He opened his eyes and felt the situation in his body. He found that the poison had been forced out. He raised his eyebrows in surprise. Could it be that girl who saved him?

Sitting up, he looked around and found some herbal residue on a rock nearby. He curled his lips slightly and said, "It turned out to be her who saved me. What a kind girl."

He stood up and straightened his clothes, only to find that the small purse he had just received from the man in black was missing. After thinking for a moment, he shook his head and smiled, "That girl must have taken it. Never mind, I'll just consider it a thank you gift for saving me."

Before Su Jinyue got home, she saw Xu Tiansheng standing at the door waiting for her. She quickly ran over and shouted, "Master!"

Xu Tiansheng nodded slightly, and his heart finally settled down. "When did you go out? Why didn't you tell me?" Although Jin Yue left a note, she had never gone out to pick herbs so early.

Su Jinyue touched her nose and said embarrassedly, "I went out in the middle of the night, Master. I'm sorry for making you worry." In the past, she would tell her master when she went out to collect herbs, but this time she only left a note. No wonder her master was worried.

"You are getting more and more daring. Aren't you afraid of encountering danger when going out so late?" Xu Tiansheng glared at Su Jinyue and shook his head helplessly.

Su Jinyue stuck out her tongue, stepped forward and took Xu Tiansheng's arm, "Master, I have gained a lot this time. Let's go inside and I'll show you."

Hearing Su Jinyue's voice, Fang Zhihong, who was writing a prescription for a patient, raised his head and said, "You're finally back. Uncle Xu was worried to death." If he hadn't stopped her, Uncle Xu would probably have gone out to look for her.

Su Jinyue smiled embarrassedly, "I won't do it again, I promise." She had searched several mountains but hadn't found a single herb containing spiritual energy, and she almost lost her life. Naturally, she couldn't take the risk again.

He took down the backpack and placed it on the table, "Master, look, I picked a lot of herbs today." Although there were no herbs containing spiritual energy in Hulu Mountain, there were many rare herbs.

Xu Tiansheng glanced at the herbs in the basket, his eyes immediately lit up with surprise. He reached out and pulled out a lavender herb from the basket. "Where did you find this purple-blue leaf?" Purple-blue leaves are extremely rare, no less rare than the ginseng he dug yesterday. He had been collecting herbs in the mountains for over twenty years and had never seen a single purple-blue leaf. He hadn't expected Jin Yue to be so lucky.
