Lin Junman was about to go to the clinic to check on the situation when Xu Tiansheng stopped her and said, "You don't have to go. I can treat him." It was just a toothache, which was not difficult for him at all.
Lin Junman looked at Xu Tiansheng in surprise, "Can you cure it?" She knew he was a doctor, but could he cure this toothache?
"It can be cured." Xu Tiansheng nodded confidently.
"If you can cure it, please do it quickly. I'm in so much pain." The patient cried out in pain, stroking his cheek.
"Please sit down." Xu Tiansheng pointed to a chair beside him.
The patient quickly sat down on the chair. Now no matter who it was, as long as they could cure his toothache, it would be fine.

Xu Tiansheng looked at Lin Junman, "Xiaoman, just give me a chance, I will treat you well in the future." He originally thought that he was just feeling guilty towards Xiaoman, but now he realized that he actually liked her, otherwise he wouldn't have felt sour when he saw her with Chen Jingyu.
Lin Junman shook her head. "I think I'm living a good life now." She had been alone all these years and had long been accustomed to it. Although she looked younger now, her heart was still the same, a heart that had experienced vicissitudes and was scarred by life.
"Xiao Man, what do I have to do to make you forgive me? Tell me. I'll do whatever I can." Xu Tiansheng looked at Lin Junman sincerely. They had missed each other for so long, and he really hoped to have her by his side for the rest of his life.
"Just stop bothering me," Lin Junman said calmly. Every time she saw him, she felt upset.
The door to the clinic opened, and Chen Jingyu and a patient walked out. Seeing Xu Tiansheng, Chen Jingyu frowned slightly. He had asked Lin Junman who Xu Tiansheng was, and Lin Junman had told him that Xu Tiansheng was her husband. But looking at the two of them now, it was clear that something was wrong.

Chen Jingyu nodded, walked to the patient, and carefully looked at his swollen walnut-like cheeks, "Come in with me." He was a little worried about Xu Tiansheng, but he couldn't just ignore the patient.

Chen Jingyu took two steps and turned to look at Lin Junman, "Junman, I've reserved a table at Baiweiju tonight."
"Okay." Lin Junman nodded. She had been to Baiweiju once and loved the herbal cuisine. However, it was difficult to reserve a table there; she had tried several times but still couldn't get one.
Xu Tiansheng felt a surge of bitterness in his heart, "Do you like him?"
"What did you say?" Lin Junman looked at Xu Tiansheng in surprise, not understanding what he meant. She and Chen Jingyu were just friends and colleagues, so how could she possibly like him?
"Do you like him?" Xu Tiansheng stared at Lin Junman, trying to find clues from her face.
Lin Junman heard Xu Tiansheng's questioning, and anger welled up in her heart. "Who I like is none of your business? It's my freedom." She really couldn't understand why this man was so selfish. When he liked someone else, he could run away with the person he liked without any regard for others. Now that he was back, he was still trying to control her freedom. Who she interacted with and who she was with was none of his business.
Xu Tiansheng took a deep breath and mustered up the courage to say, "I... I like you. Please give me a chance. I will try my best to treat you well. I will make up for the mistakes I made in the past. Xiaoman, please give me a chance." He couldn't help being jealous because he liked her.
Lin Junman was stunned for a moment, then sneered, "I don't want it!" She didn't want a man who would abandon her after having fun with her. Did he think that if he said he liked her, she would be soft-hearted and forgive him, let go of the past grudges, and reconcile with him?
"I know I've done things that have wronged you in the past. I know I was wrong, but I really want to make amends. Can't you just give me this one chance?" Xu Tiansheng looked at Lin Junman excitedly. He had already humbled himself so much, so why couldn't she just give him another chance?
"Did you ever give me a chance? Do you know how it felt on our wedding day, standing there alone, being laughed at? Where were you then?" Lin Junman sneered sarcastically. Whenever she thought of that day, her heart would ache. For her, it was a wound that would never heal.
