Chapter 698 Transfer Contract

Sangzhu was shocked when he heard this and asked quickly, "What's going on?"

"I don't know either, but I heard that the general was shot." said the maid.

Sangzhu's face turned pale. "I'll go see your father," she said to Kujin, then she stood up and walked out quickly. What kind of day is this? First, her son was injured, and now her husband is injured too.

Kuman looked at the bandaged wound on his arm and secretly felt relieved. Fortunately, the other party didn't want to kill him, otherwise he would have been powerless to resist. In front of such a master, he didn't even have a chance to survive.

"Kuman, how are you?" Sangzhu walked in and asked anxiously.

"It's okay." Kuman shook his head.

"How did you get injured? Who hit you?" Sangzhu walked up to Kuman and looked at his arm wrapped in gauze with heartache.

"Don't worry about this matter." Kuman asked.

"Haven't you captured those Chinese yet? Ku Jin keeps crying out in pain. It really breaks my heart." Thinking of her son's injuries, she felt like she was being pricked by needles. She would never let those Chinese go.

"He deserves it! I wish I could just shoot him right now," Kuman said coldly. If it weren't for that bastard, how could he have provoked such a terrifying existence? How could he have been injured? How could he have given away half of his power and wealth?

"What's wrong with you? Kujin is our son." Sangzhu looked at Kuman in surprise, not understanding why he said that.

"How do you think I got hurt? It was all that bastard's fault," Kuman angrily slammed the table. If that bastard were here, he would definitely break his legs without hesitation and see how he could cause trouble again.

"Were those Chinese the ones who injured you? They're so bold! I'm sending people to Yalu's house right now to capture them," Sangzhu said angrily. She was determined to skin them alive for daring to cross the line.

"Go back to your room. This is over." Kuman shouted in a deep voice. If he continued to provoke that man, would he still be alive?

"Kuman, when did you become so cowardly? I don't care, I will never let them go." Sangzhu threw down the words and turned to walk outside. The other party hurt her son and her husband, how could she let it go?

"Stop right there!" Kuman shouted coldly.

Sangzhu was so frightened that she shuddered and stopped abruptly. She turned around unwillingly and looked at Kuman, "What's wrong with you? Why don't you dare to go find those Chinese people? What are you afraid of?" In her heart, her husband has always been a hero. He has never suffered a loss and swallowed his anger like this time.

Kuman sighed, "You should know how Kujin was injured? Don't you think that stone is weird?" He knew his wife's temper. If he didn't explain this matter to her clearly, she would probably hide it from him and do something that would be irreparable.

"Yeah!" Sangzhu walked over to Kuman and sat down. When she heard her men describe how Kujin got injured, she felt the whole thing was strange. Several big men couldn't lift a single stone, but Kujin, so thin, lifted it with ease. She asked Kujin about it, and he said the stone suddenly became heavier, causing him to fall down with it. Stones are inanimate objects, so how could they be light or heavy?

"That's because they tampered with the stone," Kujin said. If they could make a bullet stop in mid-air and suddenly vanish, then making a stone lighter or heavier shouldn't be that difficult.

"Why did you tamper with the stone?" Sangzhu asked puzzledly.

Kuman shook his head. "I only know that she can make the bullet suddenly stop in mid-air and then shoot back."

"You mean you've already met him? You were injured because he let the bullet bounce back?" Sangzhu asked in disbelief. Isn't that the method of an immortal?

Kuman nodded, "Do you think you can mess with a being like that?"

"Is what you said true?" Sangzhu still didn't quite believe it, but she knew her husband would not joke about such things, and there was no one in Myanmar who dared to hurt her husband.

"Do you think I'd joke about something like this? They didn't kill me, but they did take half of my power and half of my property, all because of your precious son." Kuman pulled the agreement out of his pocket and threw it in front of Sangzhu. If Kujin wasn't his son, he would have shot him long ago.

Sangzhu reached for the agreement on the table, opened it, and began to read. Her face paled as she read it. Losing half her wealth was nothing, but losing half her power was fatal. She had previously relied on her position as the First Lady of Myanmar to bully many ladies of lower status. Now, if they knew she was no longer the First Lady, who knew what they would do to her.

Yalu couldn't believe what he heard, "Why would Kuman give Putian District to me?" Is he crazy?

"General Yalu, this is the transfer contract, please sign it." The old butler stepped forward and handed the contract to Yalu. He didn't understand what his master was thinking, why he wanted to divide the Putian District and give it to Yalu.

Yalu took the contract, read it carefully, and did not find anything special. "Butler Xun, do you know why General Kuman wanted to assign the Putian District to me?" Taking away the Putian District would mean losing half of Kuman's power, and Kuman's status would plummet from then on. He really couldn't understand why Kuman did that.

"I don't know either," Butler Xun said respectfully. He had asked the general the reason, but the general didn't tell him.

Seeing that he couldn't get any more information out of him, Yalu picked up the pen and signed the contract. He had thought that Kuman would definitely take his anger out on him because of Li Yanfei and the others, but he hadn't expected such an unexpected outcome.

After seeing off Butler Xun, Yalu walked towards the courtyard where Li Yanfei and others lived.

"General Yalu!" Li Yanfei and the others quickly stood up and greeted Yalu upon seeing him approach. They were very grateful to him; he was the one who chose to protect them under such immense pressure, something not many people could do.

"Everyone, please take a seat. I came here to tell you some good news." Yalu said cheerfully. With Putian District under his control, he would be the number one in Myanmar.

Everyone sat down and waited for Yalu to announce the good news.

Yalu walked over to Li Yanfei and sat down. "Your problem has been solved. Kuman won't cause you any more trouble."

"Really? That's great." Everyone said happily.
