Su Jinyue and Zhan Yihan had just finished washing up when there was a knock on the door.
"Sister Su, Brother Zhan, are you awake?" Qin Chuqin's voice came from outside.
Su Jinyue walked forward and opened the door. She saw Qin Chuqin and Qin Yunfei outside the door. "Good morning!"
"Sister Su, I've prepared breakfast for you. We'll set off after you've finished eating." Qin Chuqin raised the tray in her hand. She had specially ordered these snacks to be made. She didn't know what Sister Su and Brother Zhan liked, so she prepared some for both.
"Thank you! Come in and sit down." Su Jinyue stepped aside to let Qin Chuqin and Qin Yunfei come in.
"I heard Qin'er say that she wants to go to the fighting pot arena with you to watch the performance. It just so happens that I haven't been there for a long time. I hope I won't disturb you." Qin Yunfei looked at Su Jinyue and Zhan Yihan with a smile.
Su Jinyue smiled and shook her head, "How could it be a bother? It's more lively when there are more people."
"Sister Su, Brother Zhan, please try these snacks. If you like them, I will ask someone to make more tomorrow." Qin Chuqin put the tray on the table and looked at Su Jinyue and Zhan Yihan with a smile.
"Yeah." Su Jinyue nodded, walked to the table, reached out and picked up a piece of pink pastry and put it in her mouth. A floral fragrance immediately spread in her mouth.
"This is peach blossom cake, which has peach petals in it. I usually like to eat it. The yellow one is snow plum cake, which has a sour taste and is also very delicious. The green one is tea cake. Sister Su, you can try them all." Qin Chuqin pointed to the cakes on the table and introduced them to Su Jinyue one by one.
Su Jinyue nodded, finished the peach blossom cake in her hand, and saw Qin Chuqin looking at her expectantly. She shook her head and smiled, then took another piece of snow plum cake, put it in her mouth, took a bite and said, "It's really delicious."
"Then I'll have someone make some more tomorrow," Qin Chuqin said happily. She knew Sister Su would like it.
"Thank you!" Su Jinyue said with a smile.
"What are you thanking me for? Sister Su likes it, and I'm so happy. Sister Su, you should eat more, and Brother Zhan, you should eat more too." Qin Chuqin entertained the two of them warmly.
"It's almost time, let's go." Su Jinyue said after swallowing the pastry in her mouth.
"Okay." Qin Chuqin stood up happily and walked outside with Su Jinyue, Zhan Yihan and Qin Yunfei.
The streets are bustling with people coming and going.
"The pot fighting arena is right in front, it's the white building." Qin Chuqin pointed to a white building not far ahead.
Su Jinyue nodded. She had already seen the building when she was sitting in the carriage.
"Sister Su, when you watch the show later, you can bet on the winner. You can bet on fairy stones or fairy pills," Qin Chuqin said excitedly. She really liked coming to the pot-fighting arena to watch the show; it was very exciting, but her luck was not very good. She always lost whatever she bet on.
"Yeah." Su Jinyue nodded. She was no stranger to the pot-fighting arena; she and Yihan had been there once before. The cultivators there literally risked their lives when they battled. Winning the match rewarded them with numerous cultivation resources, while losing meant not only resources but perhaps even their lives. Therefore, pot-fighting was a thrilling, yet also brutal, game.
The four of them walked into the pot-fighting arena. When the waiter saw Qin Yunfei and Qin Chuqin, he immediately came up to them warmly, "Young Master Qin! Miss Qin! Please come in!" There was no one in Cangcheng who didn't know someone from the Qin family.
