Chapter 34

Chapter 34

A week passed like this, and finally the weekend arrived. Su Miao, who followed his father to the stall, felt that he was finally alive.

She spent four days reviewing Chinese, math and English, and finished all the exercises in the textbook without missing a single mistake. On the last day, she clearly understood everything, but had to pretend to listen to the class very carefully. The feeling was really torturous!

She felt that this was not a good way to go. Time was precious and could not be wasted in daydreaming. She had to find something to do in class.

After closing the stall, she asked her father to take her to the Xinhua Bookstore for a stroll and bought some magazines and junior high school textbooks.

Su Yuanzheng was still puzzled: "Miaomiao, won't junior high school students have to order books together? Do I have to buy them myself?"

"No, Dad. I want to preview the junior high school knowledge in my spare time so that I can have an easier time when the time comes."

"This... I still have to learn the current knowledge. Can I handle it?"

"Don't worry, Dad. I have a study plan."

Su Miao began to review the junior high school knowledge in class. She inherited her father's tall genes and was one of the tallest in the class, so her seat was in the middle against the wall.

Thanks to the natural geographical environment and Li Yuanyuan's protection, the teacher never discovered them.

Until Friday a month later, as usual, the last class on Friday was an activity class, and students could move freely around the school, and it was the weekend after school.

Su Miao was playing sandbag throwing with her classmates on the playground. The sandbags were sewn by them, and for the sake of cleanliness they usually did not put real sand inside.

Maybe it's just a handful of rice or mung beans or soybeans. Because of this, these small sandbags are often dragged away by mice.

The students were having fun when the head teacher came over and said to Su Miao, "Su Miao, take a break first and come with me to the office."

Su Miao handed the sandbag in his hand to Li Yuanyuan and left with the head teacher in confusion.

There were three or four other teachers in the teachers' office grading homework, and the head teacher asked Su Miao to sit on the chair next to him.

"Su Miao, the teacher asked you to come over to ask how your studies have been going recently."

"Teacher, I've been doing pretty well recently. I can master all the knowledge in the textbooks."

The head teacher smiled and nodded. "I believe in your learning ability. I've also asked other subject teachers. Since the start of this semester, the homework you've submitted has been excellent, without a single mistake."

This made Su Miao even more confused. Since she performed so well, why did the head teacher call her over?

"Look, yesterday a classmate reported to me that you were absent-minded and reading something extraneous during class. So today I took a closer look during class and it seems you were actually doing that, so I wanted to ask you what was going on."

Oh! So that's how it is! Su Miao thought for a moment and said to the head teacher, "Teacher, why don't I bring you my extracurricular books first?"

"That's good. The teacher is also very curious about what kind of extracurricular books can attract you so much."

Su Miao went back to the classroom to get a book. When she entered, she met Ma Wenjie's gaze, and he had a proud look on his face.

Well, the naive primary school student reported it again, and it was all thanks to his instigation that she could confront the head teacher and read it openly in the future.

When the head teacher saw the junior high school math textbook on the table, he was stunned: "This...you are reading a junior high school textbook in class?"

Su Miao answered honestly, "Yes, teacher. Actually, I finished teaching myself all the sixth grade knowledge during the summer vacation. After school started, I spent a week to consolidate it. Later, I felt that it was a waste of time to spend more time on it, so I bought junior high school textbooks to study on my own."

"When did you start studying junior high school knowledge, and how many subjects did you study?"

"I started a month ago and have finished studying Chinese and English for the first grade. Now I am studying math."

The head teacher flipped through the math textbook in front of him. It was obvious that he had only read half of the book, with a small piece of letter stuck in the middle.

It was very clean and had no notes, but the answers to the after-class exercises were all correct, and some questions even had several solutions.

She was secretly surprised. Although Su Miao had always been excellent, he had only been following the progress of the syllabus.

And now that he has been able to learn to this level in such a short period of time, even she wants to praise him as a genius.

"Huh? There should have been two small pieces of letter paper, but why is there only one left?" Su Miao said deliberately.

The head teacher thought about Ma Wenjie's report and came up with an answer. He said, "Next week I will emphasize in class that it is bad behavior to rummage through classmates' drawers at will."

Although it seems that Su Miao's advanced learning results are good now, as a class teacher, she is responsible for the students and parents, so she must be cautious.

She returned the book to Su Miao and asked her to wait in the office.

Su Miao made the best of it and continued reading. The head teachers of other classes saw her and looked at her frequently.

Ten minutes later, the head teacher came back and took her directly to the principal's office.

There were two test papers on the principal's desk. When he saw Su Miao come in, he called her over.

"Student Su Miao, here are two test questions. Try to do them."

After saying that, he gave up his seat to Su Miao and sat on the sofa opposite.

The head teacher took out a pen and draft paper: "Su Miao, don't feel pressured. The principal and the teacher just want to test your grasp of the knowledge so that they can arrange the teaching more reasonably."

Su Miao nodded. Her words alone were not enough to be trusted. She had to be able to actually solve all the problems.

And not only can she do it, she also has to do it quickly and well to prove that she is at ease.

Su Miao took a deep breath and began to answer. For most questions, he could figure out the answers in his head after quickly reading the questions.

When she was answering the multiple-choice questions, the principal and the head teacher remained calm and observed her quietly.

When they started doing calculation questions and big questions, the two of them started to lose their composure and were so excited that they could hardly sit still.

He wanted to come over to watch her answer the questions but was afraid of disturbing her train of thought, so he had to stand a few meters away, stretching his neck and watching Su Miao write quickly as if possessed by a god.

Just as Su Miao was about to start working on the last question, the school bell rang. She was stunned and stopped writing.

"What's wrong?" the head teacher asked nervously.

Su Miao said with some embarrassment: "Teacher, my father comes to pick me up from school every day. He should be waiting for me at the school gate now. Could you please go and tell him?"

"I'll go! I'll go! Just focus on answering the questions!"

The principal quickly agreed and ran out in a hurry.

Su Miao turned to the head teacher and said, "Teacher, principal... do you know which one is my father?"

"Um...this...the principal will always find a way, right?"

It's no wonder that when the principal arrived at the school gate, he immediately spotted the conspicuous Su Yuanzheng in the huge crowd.

Hmm! He's tall, has regular features, and bright eyes. Even now, he's reading a book while waiting for the child. It must be him!

"Parent, is your child Su Miao from Class 1, Grade 6?"

Su Yuan was reading the magazine that Su Miao had bought a few days ago when he suddenly heard someone talking to him.

I looked up and saw a person I didn't recognize. He had the aura of a leader, and I couldn't tell if he was a parent or a teacher.

He quickly got out of the car and replied, "Hello! I'm Su Miao's father. May I ask who you are?"

"Hahaha! My guess was right. I'm the principal of a primary school. Su Miao is in my office. Come with me! Ah! Push the car in too!"
