The man I like now seems like a hero in the operating room, always able to resolve crises at critical moments.
A few people sat down and enjoyed the simple meal very much.
"Brother, you guys go for a walk. I'll wash the dishes. Then I'll go to the department." Chen Dayong took the initiative to stand up and clean up the dishes.
Lin Xiaomei wanted to rush to wash the dishes, but was stopped by Li Zheng.

This is the most relaxing time after busy work.
"Xiaomei, do you have any brothers or sisters at home?" Li Zheng suddenly asked.
Lin Xiaomei was a little nervous. Are they going to my house?
"I have a brother and a sister." Lin Xiaomei said softly.
Li Zheng nodded and said, "They should all be married, right?"
"Yeah!" Lin Xiaomei nodded and said, "My brother has been married for ten years and his child is eight years old. My sister has also been married for seven years."
Li Zheng nodded, then asked with a smile, "Are your uncle and aunt urging you to get married?"
Lin Xiaomei shook her head and said, "They never urged me, nor did they ever urge my brother and sister. They both fell in love freely."
"It's rare to find such open-minded parents like them!" Li Zheng said with a smile.
Lin Xiaomei nodded, revealing a happy smile, and said, "My parents are really open-minded. I also want to be able to fall in love freely like my brothers and sisters. Only then can I have a truly happy marriage!"
Li Zheng laughed and said, "Aren't we in a free love relationship now?"
Lin Xiaomei's face turned red, and she felt nervous, excited, thrilled, and sweet. Many emotions surged in her heart.
Brother Zheng has officially confirmed his relationship with me!
Happiness came so suddenly that Lin Xiaomei's mind went blank and she didn't know what to say.

Li Zheng turned around instantly and asked, "What patient?"
"An old man who was herding cattle in a commune was gored by a cow. There was a hole in his belly and his intestines were exposed!" Chen Dayong said quickly.
"Xiaomei, let's go back to the department together!" Li Zheng took the lead and started jogging towards the emergency room.
Lin Xiaomei didn't hesitate at all and quickly followed Li Zheng's pace.
Chen Dayong took a few deep breaths and returned with heavy steps.
Li Zheng returned to the emergency room.
Go to the locker room and put on your white coat immediately.
When he arrived at the emergency room, Li Zheng saw an old man in his 60s lying on a stretcher, his face pale and gasping for breath.
"Come, make way, our Doctor Li is here!" Zhu Haiping also returned to the emergency room and pushed away several family members around the bed.
Li Zheng came to the bedside and Zhu Haiping handed him a pair of gloves.
"How did you get gored by a bull?" Li Zheng asked while putting on gloves.
A middle-aged family member quickly said, "My father had just finished plowing the fields and was about to lead the cow home when the animal suddenly shook its head and picked up my father. It then ran away and we didn't have time to look for it."
Li Zheng frowned. The person was already standing up. The injury must be very serious.
Li Zheng put on gloves and lifted the quilt covering his belly.
Several family members turned their heads away, not daring to look.
Li Zheng undressed again.
Chen Dayong and Lin Xiaomei also came to the emergency room.
When everyone saw the belly, they all gasped.
I saw an irregular wound about 10 cm in size on the lower right abdomen, with a section of intestine exposed. It was purple-black in color and appeared to be necrotic.
The wound was covered with dirt and grass clippings.
"How long have you been injured?" Li Zheng asked with a frown.
"It's been two hours. The health center doesn't dare to perform the operation, so we all came here on a tractor." The middle-aged family member quickly replied.
"Hurry, draw blood urgently, establish double intravenous access, notify the operating room, and prepare for emergency surgery..." Li Zheng issued a series of instructions.
The emergency department operated quickly like an orderly machine.
"What's your blood pressure?" Li Zheng said.
"90/60 mmHg, heart rate 125 beats/minute." Lin Xiaomei reported the numbers immediately.
"Prepare the debridement bag." Li Zheng said.
The blood pressure and heart rate are relatively stable, so there should be no damage to the large blood vessels.
"Brother Zheng, do we need to put the intestines in first?" Zhu Haiping asked as he opened the debridement bag.
Li Zheng shook his head and said, "It is taboo to push the exposed intestines directly back into the abdominal cavity. That will aggravate the abdominal infection."
"Pour salt water into the bowl." Li Zheng said, picked up the gauze forceps, and carefully cleaned the dirt and grass clippings around the intestinal wound.
After a simple cleaning, Li Zheng gently covered the wound and intestines with clean Vaseline gauze, then put a sterilized steel bowl on top, and then fixed the steel bowl to the belly with tape.
After the treatment, Li Zheng turned the patient over to lie on his side.
Unzip the back of the garment.
"hiss!"
Everyone gasped again.
"There is also a wound on the back!" Zhu Haiping said in surprise.
"It will definitely be pierced!" Chen Dayong said in a deep voice.
"What should we do, Dad, you can't die!" A middle-aged female family member became even more panicked when she saw the wound on his back. This was more serious than being stabbed with a knife.
