In the early morning, the dim sunlight shines through the wooden window of the emergency department's large office, casting patches of warm yellow on the polished cement floor.
On the wall, several yellowed emergency procedure diagrams, their edges slightly curled, sat nearby. The blackboard beside them was densely covered with shift schedules and precautions, the chalk writing in varying shades of light and dark, documenting the department's busy daily routine.
Li Zheng came particularly early today. He was wearing a brand new white coat, which he had specially dug out from the depths of the closet yesterday. Now that he was wearing it, he exuded a sense of energy and spirit.
"Good morning, Doctor Li!"
Emergency medical staff entered the office one after another, ready to start their early shift for the new day.

At the office door, a middle-aged man with an anxious look on his face was carrying a woman in her 40s on his back. He was breathing heavily and staggering, and was about to collapse to the ground.
