The public washbasin was dimly lit, and some of the tiles on the wall had fallen off, revealing a mottled surface.
Lin Xiaomei stood in front of the faucet, washing the dishes skillfully.
Li Zhengze stood aside, carefully taking the washed bowls and placing them neatly.
This heartwarming scene brought a special feeling to Li Zheng's heart, as if time had become softer. He thought carefully and felt that he had never experienced such an ordinary and beautiful moment in his previous life.
Just as Li was immersed in this warm atmosphere, a neighbor, an older woman, came over carrying washed dishes. She was wearing a faded cotton-padded jacket with floral patterns, her hair casually tied back. After saying that, he and Chen Dayong hurried to the department.

Upon arriving at the department, the doctor on duty, Zhu Haiping, saw Li Zheng return and hurried forward with an anxious look on his face. Li Zheng's heart sank. Judging from the blood pressure reading, heavy bleeding was almost certain! He reached out and touched the patient's abdomen, clearly feeling a mass.
"Is your menstruation regular?" Li Zheng looked at the patient's family and asked in a deep voice.
Three family members stood by the patient's bed: a young man, an elderly man, and an elderly woman. The young man looked a little dull, his eyes were glazed, and his reactions were a little slow.
Zhu Haiping quickly introduced them: "These are the patient's lover and parents-in-law."
"It used to be... quite regular, but I haven't had my period for the past two months." The young man scratched his head and spoke with a stutter.

Zhu Haiping stood aside, sweat pouring down his forehead, extremely nervous. He knew he had almost misdiagnosed the patient, and he was filled with fear.
Li Zheng saw what he was thinking, patted his shoulder, and comforted him, "Appendicitis and ectopic pregnancy rupture and bleeding have similar symptoms. Chen Dayong trotted in, his face filled with anxiety. He immediately reported, "B-ultrasound shows an abnormally echogenic mass in the right adnexa. There's also a moderate amount of fluid in the pelvic cavity. A ruptured ectopic pregnancy has been confirmed!"
