Chapter 22 Jealousy makes people unrecognizable

Chen Wang began to become anxious.

It was almost dark, and if there was nothing going on, they would definitely be at home at this time.

He hurried out of the house and prepared to ask the nearby villagers.

When I walked past the house next door, I saw Qiao Zhijie's father sweeping the yard.

"Uncle Qiao, do you know where my wife and sister are?"

Chen Wang asked.

He had no ill feelings towards Qiao Zhijie's father. His reputation in the village was completely opposite to that of his son.

I think all the villagers would agree with the description of this father and son as a tiger father and a dog son.

"I don't know. I didn't notice. Why? They're not home?"

"Then you go ahead and I'll go look for it."

"Okay, ask the others."

"Um!"

Chen Wang responded and quickly went to ask other villagers.

After asking several people, I finally learned from a middle-aged lady that she saw my sister and wife going to my uncle's house together.

Upon hearing the news, Chen Wang frowned slightly, thanked his aunt, and ran to his uncle's house.

When he arrived at his uncle's house, Chen Wang saw his wife and sister standing outside the door holding hands. The little girl had her hands on her hips and was talking angrily to her aunt and Chen Feng.

"I don't care. Brother Feng, you have to make it clear to everyone. My brother didn't steal your pig. He said that it was your family that compensated us."

After approaching, Chen Wang heard the little girl's voice, full of grievance and stubbornness.

"Xiaoyu, you are still young, you don't understand, we didn't borrow your pig."

My aunt tried to confuse right and wrong.

"Aunt, you are so funny. Do you think you are just a child who knows nothing?"

The little girl had an expression of disdain and contempt on her face.

"I...I didn't mean that."

The aunt smiled awkwardly, feeling that she was being looked down upon by a five-year-old girl.

"Xiaoyu, stop making a fuss here. I didn't say anything."

Chen Feng picked his nose, looking nonchalant.

"The villagers think that way, what can I do? It's because your brother stole Lao Wang's chicken two days ago and was hit by Lao Wang with a carrying pole. People think that if you steal chickens and dogs once, you will do it again. It's normal!"

"Bah! Bullshit, my brother is not a thief, I hate you!"

The little girl yelled angrily.

"It's no use for you to yell here. Your brother stole Lao Wang's chicken the day before yesterday. The whole village knows about it."

"Brother, I didn't. I was deceived. You are talking nonsense. You are a bad guy!"

The little guy was angry and anxious, and his voice was a little tearful.

Her brother is no longer stupid and is still so good to her. Now she feels that he is the best brother in the world and will not allow anyone to slander him.

Lin Xiuqin was so angry that her beautiful eyes turned slightly red. She held the little guy's hand and glared at Chen Feng.

She wanted to say something, but no sound came out.

"Okay, it's getting dark, you guys should go back!"

My aunt impatiently asked them to leave.

"Xiaoyu, don't cry, there's nothing to cry about."

A familiar voice came.

The little girl and Lin Xiuqin both looked delighted and turned their heads to look.

"elder brother……"

Seeing the backbone, the little girl's grievances suddenly burst out.

Chen Wang walked quickly to them, raised his hand and rubbed the little girl's head, looked at Lin Xiuqin and said, "I came back and saw that you were not at home. I was so worried."

Lin Xiuqin's eyes showed some apology and she made a few gestures.

"Brother, Brother Feng told the villagers that our pigs were stolen from theirs."

The little girl raised her head and said aggrievedly.

Chen Wang nodded and said, "I heard everything just now, and I guessed what it was about."

He looked down at the little girl and said with a smile, "Why are you so aggrieved? There's no need to come and argue with them and waste your breath. The people in the village are not fools. Do you believe whatever he says?"

"But... I was playing with the kids in the village and they called you a thief, so I got really angry!"

The little girl said with a pout.

"What a silly girl!"

Chen Wang glanced at Chen Feng and said jokingly: "Some people can only fool some children. We don't need to pay attention to such people. If a mad dog bites you, do you have to bite it back?

“Puff!”

The little girl was amused by this.

Lin Xiuqin also covered her mouth and laughed silently.

"Chen Wang, you dare to scold me?"

Chen Feng became angry and embarrassed.

"I'm scolding you, what's wrong?"

Chen Wang looked at him coldly and said word by word, "I already said it last time. From now on, our two families will not interfere with each other. It seems that you don't understand what I'm saying? Do you really want me to cripple one of your arms?"

"you……"

Chen Feng was furious, but thinking of what Chen Wang did last time, he swallowed back the harsh words that were about to come out of his mouth.

Until now, his arm still hurts!

"Hey, I've already told you we didn't do anything, what are you doing? You have to come to our house and make trouble. We're all relatives, why do you have to make trouble like this? Are you making us all unhappy?"

My aunt started yelling and acting crazy again.

"It's better not to have such relatives!"

Chen Wang smiled coldly, turned around and left.

"Let's go back. I bought a lot of things, including rice, meat, instant noodles and oven fruit!"

"Instant noodles? Wow, brother, did you buy instant noodles?"

The little girl quickly followed, asking with shining eyes.

Instant noodles are a luxury these days. It was not like when Chen Wang was reborn. Only poor or lazy people ate instant noodles.
