Chapter 28: Killing a Pig Banquet

A big wild boar weighing more than 300 pounds is much more troublesome to deal with than a small wild boar.

After processing the wild boar's internal organs, Chen Wang felt sweat on his back.

He stood up and stretched, then looked at the family of three in the distance and found that they were doing the same thing. The one who left two people to deal with the prey and raised his arm to greet him should have gone back to the village to find someone to help.

They killed three wild boars this time, and they were all big ones.

When this batch of prey is transported back, the two villages will probably be in an uproar.

"Right over there, Awang, here we come!"

Suddenly, Chen Dazhuang's voice was heard.

Chen Wang showed a look of joy, turned around and saw Chen Dazhuang and a few others walking quickly towards him.

In addition to his master Chen Jianjun, there is also Old Wang, who was reborn because of a carrying pole, and two other middle-aged men whom he is relatively unfamiliar with.

"Wow, we actually killed two wild boars. That one's testicles are really big, they must be nearly 400 kilograms, right?"

Lao Wang cried out in shock.

"Pao Luanzi" is the name for boars in Northeast China, and it has gradually spread here in recent years.

"Yes, if not 400 kilograms, then at least 380 kilograms."

Chen Jianjun's face was flushed and he seemed to be walking with the wind.

This time, my son and his apprentice really made me proud.

He had just returned home when he saw his son running back excitedly. He couldn't believe it when he learned that he had killed two wild boars.

After Chen Dazhuang's explanation, he reluctantly believed it and quickly ran to find Lao Wang and the other two.

Now that he actually saw the two wild boars lying there, Chen Jianjun became really excited.

The other two men also exclaimed in amazement and were deeply moved.

"I didn't expect that after Silly Awang stopped being stupid, he actually became a good hunter."

"Yes, Old Chen, you have a good apprentice. And your son is becoming more and more like you when you were young!"

"Don't say that. They are just lucky. It's a blind cat that caught a dead mouse."

Chen Jianjun spoke modestly, but there was a bright smile on his face.

"Master, Uncle Wang."

When a few people came closer, Chen Wang hurriedly greeted them with a smile.

"Oh, good, good, Awang, you've really made it. I heard from Dazhuang that it was you who hit the target?"

Wang Fuqiang asked with a smile on his face.

Now that Chen Wang is more successful, he feels more and more accomplished, and feels that his shoulder pole was truly magical.

"The big one was shot by me with a gun, and the small one was stabbed by Zhuang Ge with a knife. Zhuang Ge is much stronger than me."

Chen Wang said with a smile.

Hearing this, several people looked at Chen Dazhuang in surprise.

Chen Dazhuang waved his hands with a proud look on his face, "It's nothing, this little pig only weighs about 100 pounds, let alone using a knife, I can catch it with my bare hands!"

As soon as he finished speaking, he was slapped on the back of his head.

Chen Dazhuang touched the back of his head and looked at his father aggrievedly.

"Stop showing off in front of me!"

Chen Jianjun scolded angrily.

Chen Dazhuang rolled his eyes and said nothing.

Immediately afterwards, under the introduction of Chen Jianjun, Chen Wang greeted the other two middle-aged men in turn.

They are neighbors of Lao Wang's family. They also have the surname Chen and are brothers. They are both in their forties and have not yet separated. According to the seniority in the village, they are considered Chen Wang's uncles.

After a brief chat, everyone started to work.

Including Chen Wang and Chen Dazhuang, there are six people in total, and they are all strong men, which is more than enough.

The little wild boar and miscellaneous items were handed over to Chen Wang and Chen Dazhuang.

The big wild boar was cut into two parts with a knife, one part was carried by Lao Wang and Chen Jianjun, and the other part was carried by the pair of brothers.

The stuff is very heavy and the mountain road is difficult to walk on.

Fortunately, these people are farmers who are used to doing hard work and can endure hardships.

On the way back carrying the prey, everyone was talking and laughing, chatting about which widow in the village was very plump, which wife was cheating on her husband, etc., and they didn't feel tired at all.

Chen Wangdu listened with great interest and couldn't help but sigh in his heart that the excitement of certain things happening in and out of the village in this era was no less than that in big cities in later generations.

There are not many memories of Silly Awang in my mind, and certainly no romantic stories about Chenjia Village.

After all, no one would say these things to a fool.

After walking for about forty to fifty minutes, the group finally entered the village.

The wild boar meat carried by several people immediately attracted the attention of the villagers.

When the villagers learned that the fight was committed by two young men, Chen Wang and Chen Dazhuang, they were surprised and envious.

Soon someone took the initiative to ask if they could have some meat.

Chen Jianjun and the others didn't say anything, and they all turned their eyes to the two children.

Chen Dazhuang looked at Chen Wang and said with a smile: "You hit the big one."

Chen Wang glared at him, thought for a while, and said to the surrounding villagers: "How about this, my family didn't raise pigs this year, so we'll use these two pigs to hold a pig-killing banquet in advance. Everyone come and help. There will be enough meat and rice, and everyone can take some meat home after the event."

As soon as these words came out, warm cheers broke out all around.

"Awang, good job!"

"Awang is so generous!!"

"You go first, I'll be there to help right away."

"Awang, you are blessed by the mountain god. Not only have you become smarter, but you are also good at hunting!"

"Brother Zhuang, Master, I'm sorry. Can you please move all the wild boar meat to my place first? I'm afraid it won't be enough. You can take the rest back with you. I'll make up for the shortfall."

Chen Wang looked at Chen Jianjun and his son and said.

"What are you talking about!"
