Chapter 338 Farmers Market

In order to get to the city earlier, Chen Wang got up earlier the next day.

At four o'clock, before daybreak, he got up and started working.

Even though I went to bed early at nine o'clock yesterday, I still felt a little dizzy after getting up.

After a while, Chen Dazhuang and Uncle Zhao also came over.

After cooking more than 600 kilograms of crayfish and filling their stomachs with noodles, the three of them got on the tractor and set off.

There were also two cans of honey on the tractor, as well as some bacon.

When putting these in the car, Chen Wang told Uncle Zhao that he would pick up his mother-in-law on the way back.

When Uncle Zhao learned that it was on his way, he naturally agreed readily.

After swaying on the tractor for a while, Chen Wang and Chen Dazhuang leaned against each other and took a nap.

Uncle Zhao was also feeling a little sleepy, but he certainly didn't dare to take a nap and could only smoke one cigarette after another.

We set out at 5:30 and it took us about two and a half hours, arriving in the city at nearly eight o'clock.

"Awang, where are we going?"

Uncle Zhao asked loudly, looking around with curiosity.

It’s too far to come to the city. He hasn’t been here for two or three years, and he feels that many places have changed a lot.

"Go straight, then turn left. I'll show you the way. We're going to the farmer's market."

Chen Wang answered.

When he came to the city to buy a refrigerator before, he saw a farmer's market. There were residential areas and a middle school nearby, so there was definitely enough traffic.

Uncle Zhao responded and drove according to his instructions.

"Brother Zhuang, is there anything you want to buy? A refrigerator, a fan, or something?"

Chen Wang looked at Chen Dazhuang and asked.

Chen Dazhuang's eyes lit up and he nodded, "I really want to buy a refrigerator, and I have to buy two fans for my home."

"If you're not busy later, why don't you go to the department store? It's not far from the farmer's market, so you can just move it onto the tractor. I paid dozens of dollars for delivery last time!"

"Well, I'll go check it out later!"

Chen Dazhuang nodded repeatedly, then suddenly slapped his forehead and said, "Oh, I didn't bring enough money today!"

"That's it, then. When the crayfish are almost sold out, you can take all the money and return it to me when you get back."

Chen Wang suggested with a smile.

“Sure, sure.”

Chen Dazhuang nodded happily in agreement.

Now that he has a wife and the family has quite a bit of savings, he naturally wants to live a better life.

Chen Dazhuang has always wanted to buy a refrigerator and an electric fan, and he would be envious every time he saw them when he went to Chen Wang's house.

Especially now that we live in a new house, the house feels empty. The night before last I discussed with my wife about buying some home appliances for the house.

"I just don't know if I have enough money. The last time I bought a refrigerator, it cost 1,260 yuan. The electric fan costs 100 or 200 yuan. You have to buy tickets outside."

"It's okay. If it's not enough, then don't buy the fan for now. Anyway, if our crayfish sell well today, we will come to the city more often in the future."

"Yeah, that's fine."

Soon, the tractor drove outside the farmers' market.

After moving down the two small stainless steel barrels, Chen Wang looked at Uncle Zhao and said, "Uncle Zhao, please wait here."

"It's okay, it's okay. You guys go in quickly. I'll add some gas to the tractor."

Uncle Zhao said with a smile.

There are two large barrels of diesel behind the tractor. Take them down and pour them in to save the day.

Chen Wang didn't say anything else. He and Chen Dazhuang each carried a stainless steel bucket and walked into the farmers' market.

Every stall in the market is well-regulated, selling everything, and there are many customers coming and going.

Most people who come to the market at this time in the morning are here to buy vegetables.

“The stalls here should be rented.”

Chen Wang said in a low voice.

"Really? How do I rent it?"

Chen Dazhuang asked with a puzzled look.

Chen Wang looked around and saw a sign on the left that said "Management Office" and pursed his lips.

"It should be there. Let's find an empty stall first, and then I'll go ask."

"Um!"

There were not many empty stalls in the market, so the two chose a relatively best location.

After putting the things down, Chen Dazhuang stayed there to guard it, while Chen Wang went to the management office.

There were only two people inside. After consulting, Chen Wang learned that the stall fee was 150 per month, plus an additional 20 for garbage disposal.

To be honest, this price is a bit expensive.

Nowadays, many workers in factories only earn a few dozen yuan a month.

However, Chen Wang still paid the money readily.

The conditions in this farmers' market are good enough. After paying the money, it's pretty good to have a fixed stall.

Fortunately, he had considered this before he set out and had a few hundred dollars in his pocket.

"Awang, how is it?"

Chen Dazhuang looked at Chen Wang who was walking back and asked.

"Okay, start making money!"

Chen Wang nodded with a smile.

"Very good!"

Chen Dazhuang waved his fist excitedly, then opened the lid of the barrel and shouted loudly.

The tempting aroma of crayfish spread, as if instantly dispelling all the pungent and unpleasant smells in the farmers' market.

"What a smell! It smells so good!"

"It came from over there."

"A new face I haven't seen before. What are you selling?"

"Who cares? Let's go and take a look. It smells so good."

At once, many people gathered towards Chen Wang and the others.

"Come on, come on, delicious and inexpensive crayfish, braised in oil, and fried with garlic, everyone can try it first."

Chen Wang still used the same old routine, distributing shrimps to customers one by one with a bright smile.
