I carried the little one into the kitchen and saw Lin Xiuqin cooking with a spatula.
Hearing the footsteps, Lin Xiuqin turned her head to look at them and smiled.
"Let's see what Mom is cooking."
Chen Wang held the little guy and walked towards the stove.
There are two large iron pots on the stove. Rice should be steaming in the one side, and shredded potatoes are being fried in the pot on this side.
On the table next to them, there were two plates of meat dishes.
One is stewed meat with carrots, and the other is stir-fried meat with peppers.
Lin Xiuqin pointed at the curling smoke and then pointed to the kitchen door, indicating that there was too much smoke in there and asked him to carry the little guy out.
Chen Wang nodded, picked up the little guy and turned to go out.
Just then the little girl came over.
"Hurry, help your sister-in-law bring the dishes to the table in the main room. It's time to eat."
Chen Wang instructed the little girl.
"good!"
The little girl nodded and agreed, and went into the kitchen to help.
Chen Wang was just about to carry the little one back to the room to coax him to sleep when a woman's voice came from the direction of the mansion's gate.
"Awang! Xiuqin! Are you all home?"
"Yes, come in!"
A young woman about the same age as my daughter-in-law walked into the yard.
Chen Wang knew her. She was a sister in the village who had a good relationship with his wife. She was also married from another place. She had helped them process crayfish before. She was a very diligent woman.
"Sister-in-law, what's the matter?"
"I heard you guys have meat for sale, so I came over to buy some, okay?"
"Of course, but why don't you go to Brother Dazhuang's house? It should be cheaper there."
