"Because you're richer than me!"
"Type the password yourself!" Xia Changlong turned his laptop towards Yang Yajing, and only took it back after she finished typing. He then asked, "How much?"
"I don't have much liquid cash left. Just give me six million, that'll be enough. I'll run away after the annual report is out. Remember to let me run first!"
"You little money-grubber!" Xia Changlong glared at Yang Yajing. "Is your next sentence about not forgetting your 10% consulting fee?"
"Brother Xia is brilliant!" Yang Yajing gave Xia Changlong a thumbs up.
"Huh? You have a pharmaceutical stock in your account? Why didn't you let me know?" Xia Changlong was browsing Yang Yajing's account.
"peep?"
"No! Look openly and honestly!"
"It seems like that pharmaceutical stock has been building up momentum, but it's been quite quiet lately, so I haven't mentioned it!" Yang Yajing raised an eyebrow. "What if it doesn't go up? I won't get my consulting fee."
"Eight out of ten of the stocks you bought are making money. Are you trying to fool me?" Xia Changlong wasn't buying it. He logged into his own account and bought a significant amount of those pharmaceutical stocks as well.
Xia Changlong was dealing with stocks when Yang Yajing looked up and saw Zhong Aiguo looking utterly bewildered. Had they completely forgotten about him, the guest they had invited?
"Hehe! Uncle Zhong, my apologies!" Yang Yajing said with a grin. "Making money can't be delayed, right? Don't worry, we'll pay our taxes just as efficiently!"
"Ahem!" Zhong Aiguo didn't know what to say anymore!
He's a national civil servant, so how come he feels like he's chosen the wrong career when faced with two people who talk about millions or tens of millions of dollars all the time?
But thinking about it again, he doesn't really have the brains for it; he's good at formal anti-corruption work, though. Oh well, oh well!
