Chapter 11 Being Unconventional



"I'm not bragging!" Yang Yajing added, "My dad's braised pig's feet are almost the best, if not number one!"

"Thank you, Uncle Yang!" Zhou Pengfei nodded.

In the evening, Zhou Youcheng came to pick up his son. The enthusiastic Yang Guohua even insisted on giving him a lunchbox of pig's feet to take home, making Zhou Youcheng a little embarrassed.

We asked them for help, and my son ate and drank for free at their house, even taking takeout with him when he left... How could we possibly accept that!

"You little rascal! You're getting thicker and thicker lately?" Zhou Youcheng shook his head helplessly, looking apologetically at Zhang Aijia. "Did the brat cause you any trouble?"

"No, no!" Sylvia Chang waved her hand. "This child is very polite, serious in her work, and incredibly talented! Brother Zhou, you and Sister Wang have taught her so well! Unlike my crazy girl!"

"Hahaha! You flatter me, Miss Zhang!" Zhou Youcheng laughed heartily. Who doesn't like their child being praised? "I think Ya Jing is a clever and quick-witted child; she's bound to achieve great things in the future!"

After exchanging compliments, they said their goodbyes.

Back in her room, Yang Yajing lay down and complained, "Sigh! The adult world! It's all about politeness first; you have to say nice things to get food!"
