Chapter 14 Song Yaohui is wrongly accused of stealing money

Song Yaohui was so moved that he wanted to cry.

His tiny, adorable little sister saved him.

Old Mrs. Song was furious and swung her stick at the brother and sister.

"careful!"

At the critical moment, Song Yaohui held Song Fanxing in his arms.

The stick struck Song Yaohui's back, and he let out a painful groan.

"Big brother!"

Song Fanxing felt both heartache and anger.

He crawled out of Song Yaohui's arms, his eyes blazing with anger, glaring at Old Lady Song.

"You old hag! You dare hit my brother? I'll kill you!"

Old Mrs. Song's eyesight suddenly deteriorated, and she became so angry that the wrinkles on her face began to tremble.

No one has ever dared to speak to her like that.

"You brat, you're so unfilial! I'm your grandma, how dare you call me that and even try to kill me? You've got guts! Before you kill me, I'll beat you to death first."

As she spoke, Old Lady Song swung her wooden stick at Song Fanxing.

"Hey sis, watch out!"

Song Yaohui was alarmed and rushed over to protect his sister once again.

But then he saw his younger sister's small white hand grab the wooden stick and easily snatch it away.

She gave the bewildered old woman a disdainful smile, then twirled the wooden stick around in a circle.

Her aura was incredibly commanding, if you ignored her height.

The people in the courtyard were stunned for a full five minutes.

Old Mrs. Song quickly hid behind Song Dalong.

He yelled, "You brat, what kind of monster are you?"

"My sister isn't a monster!"

Song Yaohui does not allow anyone to talk about his sister.

Song Fanxing walked step by step toward Old Lady Song.

Song Dalong had already witnessed Song Fanxing's prowess twice; this brat was incredibly strong, which frightened him so much that he retreated repeatedly, and Old Lady Song also retreated along with her.

But Old Mrs. Song had been a strong-willed woman her whole life. While Old Mr. Song was alive, he could keep her in check, but once he died, she became the Empress Dowager of the Song family. Her words were law, and her decisions were always correct, allowing no one to disagree.

At this moment, Song Fanxing suppressed her, and she felt extremely insulted.

He yelled, "You bastard! You worthless brat! Just like your mother! What are you trying to do? You want to hit this old woman? I'll tell your father to beat you to death, you unfilial granddaughter."

Ye Fangxuan hid by the door, watching the scene inside.

This little cousin is amazing!

She was shocked and envious. If she could be that powerful, no one would dare to bully her.

"Star!"

Fang Jie shouted, panting heavily.

Song Fanxing turned around and saw Fang Jie. She silently put down the wooden stick.

Fang Jie ran over and shielded Song Fanxing and Song Yaohui behind her, while Song Yaohua automatically stood with his family.

Fang Jie checked Song Fanxing's body, "Are you injured?"

Song Fanxing shook her head, "No, my older brother protected me. He was injured."

Fang Jie checked on her eldest son.

Song Yaohui comforted her, "Mom, I'm fine, I can handle it."

When Granny Song saw Fang Jie arrive, she immediately became arrogant.

She knew that her eldest daughter-in-law was easy to manipulate and that she couldn't do anything to her.

So he stepped out from behind Song Dalong.

With his hands on his hips, he roared, "You damned bitch, look at the children you've raised! What have you turned them into? Song Yaohui stole my money, and that bitch Song Fanxing tried to hit me. These are all the good children you've raised! I'm going to call Da Rong back and divorce you!"

Fang Jie frowned and immediately denied her words.

“Yaohui wouldn’t steal your money. You must be mistaken. I know my own son best. He’s of good character and wouldn’t do such a thing. Also, don’t talk about Xingxing like that. She’s my precious daughter, and I won’t allow anyone to say a bad word about her.”

"mom!"

Song Yaohui looked at Fang Jie with emotion; at this moment, what he needed most was the trust of his family.

His mother believed in him; no one else mattered.

Song Fanxing was deeply touched by the word "precious darling".

Fang Jie continued, "My Xingxing is only 3 years old. You think she can beat you if she wants to hit you? Mom, don't let people laugh at you for trying to frame a 3-year-old. Go ahead and call Darong back, and see if he believes you. Even if you sit on the main road of the village and cry, it won't do any good. Nobody will believe you, and you'll be the one who loses face."

Grandma Song is about to have a heart attack.

Fang Jie is right. No one will believe that a 3-year-old child could do anything to her. They will only think that she is looking for trouble and that she would not even spare a 3-year-old child.

"Okay, let's put that aside for now. What about Song Yaohui stealing my money? 500 yuan is missing from my room, and he stole it."

Fang Jie was surprised; she hadn't expected her mother-in-law to have so much hidden money.

If you do the math, these should all be Song Darong's allowances over the years.

Song Darong initially received a subsidy of 15 yuan, but it has now increased to 25 yuan.

At first, Song Darong didn't know that his mother-in-law had intercepted all the allowances he sent back. After finding out, he stopped sending them and instead saved the money to give to her when he returned home.

But her mother-in-law eventually found out and made a scene on the village road, shouting that if Song Darong didn't send her money, she would go to Song Darong's army base and make trouble for him, so that he would never have a peaceful day.

Having no other choice, Song Darong started sending money home again, but he became more cunning and only sent 10 yuan a month.

His mother-in-law was not satisfied, but Song Darong said that he also had to make a living, and that was all he had left each month.

The mother-in-law knew in her heart that she still wanted Song Darong to give her money, so she couldn't push him too far.

After all, 10 yuan is a lot of money, and it's better to have something than nothing.

Several years have passed, and my mother-in-law has saved 500 yuan, not counting the subsidies she gives to her two younger sons.
