Zhou Zan thought he was going to die.
The broadsword clattered to the ground.
"Who's there? Show yourself, you idiot!"
The bandit wielding the broadsword clutched his wrist, wincing in pain.
Song Fanxing appeared before everyone.
This startled the bandits and left Zhou Zan completely petrified.
After a long while, Zhou Zan hurriedly got up.
Song Fanxing walked to his side and reached out to support him.
Zhou Zan held her protectively in his arms.
She scolded, "Xingxing, what are you doing here? Don't you know it's dangerous here?"
Song Fanxing kept her eyes on the bandits, afraid they would attack.
But he said, "If I hadn't come, you would have lost your life."
"You came here specifically to rescue me?"
"nonsense!"
"Aren't you kidding me? We're both going to die here."
One of the bandits burst into laughter.
"This girl is so beautiful, it would be a waste to kill her. Keep her as our bandit queen, and kill the men."
Song Fanxing whispered to Zhou Zan, "Little Zan, stop talking nonsense. Now that I've come to rescue you, I will definitely get you out of here."
Zhou Zan had a headache.
How could a young girl like her rescue him?
The next second, I was dumbfounded...
Suddenly, his soft and sweet little sister Xingxing swiftly raised her leg and kicked a group of bandits twenty meters away, before they crashed heavily to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.
They were all holding large knives, but Song Fanxing had them completely bewildered. They hadn't expected such power from a young girl like her, and they were kicked away before they could even swing their knives.
The little girl's kicking power was astonishing; it felt as if they had been struck hard in the chest by a sledgehammer, leaving them breathless with pain.
He suffered severe internal injuries.
They lay on the ground, unable to get up.
Zhou Zan: ...
Before the bandits could catch their breath, Song Fanxing bent down, picked up Zhou Zan, and ran.
She's very strong; carrying Zhou Zan, who weighs 140 pounds, is a piece of cake for her.
After running a kilometer, Zhou Zan could no longer bear the torment.
He's a grown man, yet he made a girl carry him. How embarrassing...
Zhou Zan blushed as he got off Song Fanxing's back.
"I'll walk by myself."
Song Fanxing looked behind her; the bandits hadn't caught up yet.
"Fine, go by yourself."
In the blink of an eye, Song Fanxing had a kettle in her hand.
"Little Zan Zan, drink some water to replenish your energy."
Zhou Zan asked in confusion, "Where did this kettle come from?"
He remembered that Song Fanxing did not have a water bottle with her.
Song Fanxing shoved the water bottle into his arms.
"Just drink it, don't waste your breath!"
Feeling rejected, Zhou Zan had no choice but to accept the kettle and drink from it.
Wow! This water tastes really good!
He couldn't resist taking a few more sips.
I feel full of energy and my mind is clear...
"Star, is this the water you mentioned that can cure diseases and improve health?"
Song Fanxing nodded.
"Little Zan Zan, let's hurry up and leave before the bandits catch up."
Although she is strong, the broadsword has no eyes and if it cuts her, it will hurt a lot.
She only managed to catch the bandits off guard; if they had attacked together with their broadswords, she might not have been a match for them.
Zhou Zan hung the water bottle on his body.
"Walk."
"Wait, let's ride camels."
Her camel was not far away.
Song Fanxing climbed up, and Zhou Zan straddled her behind her, half-embracing her for protection.
Although Song Fanxing felt awkward, now was not the time to dwell on it.
The two rode camels toward the edge of the desert.
They met a camel owner on the road, who led them out of the desert.
On the way, they encountered reinforcements.
The electrical circuits at the Xicheng military base were broken and repairs were underway, which is why Song Darong couldn't get through on the phone.
The circuit wasn't repaired until noon the next day.
Song Darong quickly called to inform them.
Song Darong did not tell the Xicheng troops that the information came from his own daughter, because he knew they wouldn't believe him and wouldn't take any action.
He said a friend of his got the information by chance, and that the information was true.
The West City troops, of course, believed the commander's words and immediately dispatched troops to provide support.
Song Fanxing looked at the support troops and knew that it was her father who had made the call.
They just arrived a little late.
If she hadn't come in person, Zhou Zan would have been dead.
Zhou Zan jumped off the camel.
He said to Song Fanxing, "Xingxing, go back to town first and wait for me at the town government gate. I'll come find you after I've wiped out the bandits with the main force."
He had been inside bandit strongholds and was familiar with the terrain, so he had to participate in the suppression operation.
This is his mission as a soldier.
Song Fanxing didn't stop him.
"Go quickly, be careful, and run if you can't win."
"Um."
Zhou Zan felt a bittersweet feeling; his little sister Xingxing cared about him a lot.
This made him very happy.
Zhou Zan didn't dare to delay and jumped onto the army's military truck.
With the camel owner leading the way, Song Fanxing made it out of the desert without any problems.
The camel owner also escorted Song Fanxing to the entrance of the town government.
Song Fanxing said gratefully, "Boss, thank you!"
The camel owner waved his hand dismissively.
You're welcome... You're welcome!
Then they left in a hurry.
The deal was finally completed smoothly, and the money in his pocket was now completely his.
He walked and laughed.
I can finally take a six-month break and stay home with my wife and kids.
Song Fanxing had a big, plump peach in her hand and sat on the stone stool to eat it.
Feeling a bit sleepy, and remembering that she hadn't seen Zhou Zan yet, she drank two sips of spiritual spring water to refresh herself, and her sleepiness vanished instantly.
