Chapter 21 My Little Sister is Very Well-Behaved

Zhao Feiyan asked Song Yaohui and Song Yaohua, "Is she your sister?"

Song Yaohui and Song Yaohua nodded.

Song Yaohui: "Teacher Zhao, there's no one at home to look after my younger sister. Can I bring her with me to school from now on?"

Zhao Feiyan smiled and said, "Okay, but you all need to take good care of your little sister and make sure she doesn't disturb the class."

Song Yaohui: "Yes, my sister is very well-behaved."

Song Fanxing immediately sat up straight.

She is indeed very well-behaved.

Zhao Feiyan chuckled twice and continued distributing books.

None of these children had ever been to school, so they all started from first grade.

Song Fanxing glanced at them and estimated that some of the children looked to be around twelve or thirteen years old.

He's only just started school.

However, it's never too late to start learning.

Song Fanxing sat on the stool and listened to the class for a while out of boredom, but when she got really bored, she lay down on the desk and fell asleep.

Anyway, she's just a 3-year-old toddler, so the teacher won't bother her as long as she doesn't disrupt class.

In reality, she didn't sleep; instead, she went into the Spirit Spring Space to farm.

I picked a basket of peaches, a basket of corn, a basket of pumpkins, a basket of vegetables, and a basket of sweet potatoes and potatoes.

Harvest the black fungus and hazel mushrooms that have grown and dry them in the sun.

Family, who understands the joy of a bountiful harvest?

Song Fanxing also found two eggs in the peach orchard.

If this continues, in another two or three days, she can start hatching the chicks.

Her mother has already taught her how to identify a fertilized egg.

Pick up the egg and shake it. If it makes a sound, it's a fertilized egg. An unfertilized egg won't make a sound.

Alternatively, if you put the egg in the sunlight and see spots inside, then it's a fertilized egg.

She didn't know before and thought that eggs could hatch into chicks.

When it comes to hatching chicks, she has to provide the mother hen with a comfortable nest.

She got right to work, pulling up a large basket of grass and drying it.

There was no straw in the room, so she had to use this instead. It was even softer than straw, and once it dried, it was perfect for laying in the bamboo basket to warm the hen's bed.

She had just finished her work when she heard Song Yaohui calling her.

"Star, Star, wake up, time to go out and stretch your legs."

Song Fanxing came out of the space, raised her head and pretended to have just woken up, and even stretched.

"Big brother, are you out of school yet?"

Song Yaohua burst into laughter.

"Little sister, are you still half asleep? We just had one class, and now get out of class is over. We'll have math class soon."

A boy came closer.

"Song Yaohui, Song Yaohua, aren't you ashamed? You even bring a little tagalong to school."

Song Fanxing didn't care; a little tail was fine. She had lived for over 30 years and was calm and composed, so she wouldn't take a kid's words to heart.

Song Yaohui was displeased and gave the boy a cold look.

“My little sister isn’t a little shadow; she’s our most beloved sister, and we’re happy to take her with us.”

Song Yaohua: "Yes, we're willing, what's it to you?"

"Tch, 'my dearest little sister,' aren't you guys being mushy?"

Song Yaohua: "Heh, you don't understand the joy of having a younger sister. We not only love her, but we also protect her. If anyone dares to bully my little sister, I'll fight them."

The boy pursed his lips. He didn't understand. He only had two younger brothers who fought with him every day. When they got into trouble, he had to clean up their messes and take the blame.

He was thoroughly fed up with his two younger brothers.

The boy looked at Song Fanxing and thought she was indeed soft, cute, and adorable.

Is my sister really that good?

Should he go home and urge his parents to have a child?

Song Fanxing looked at her two older brothers with a happy smile.

Her little hands went into the cloth bag slung across her shoulder.

This cloth bag was made by Fang Jie when she was making schoolbags for her two older brothers. It's a little smaller than their schoolbags, and it fits her perfectly when she wears it crossbody.

When Song Fanxing took her hands out, she was holding a plump peach in each hand.

"Big brother, second brother, you must be tired from class. Have a peach to soothe your throat."

She had just heard her two older brothers reading the text aloud with great enthusiasm.

It must have taken a lot of talking.

Song Yaohui and Song Yaohua had no idea when she had put two peaches in her food.

Song Yaohui: "Little sister, you eat, I'm not thirsty."

Song Fanxing chuckled, "Eat up, I have more."

The two brothers then picked up the peaches and started eating them.

Song Fanxing also took out a peach from the cloth bag and started eating it.

Peaches have thin skins and are very juicy, perfect for quenching thirst.

The boy, smelling the sweet fragrance of peaches and hearing the slurping sounds of the three of them eating them, swallowed hard, completely losing his composure.

He finally realized the advantages of having a younger sister.

If you gave him a whole stack of sisters like that, he'd love them and would proudly show them off every day.

Just a moment ago I was dismissive, now I'm sour.

Why isn't such a wonderful younger sister his?

The boy shamelessly approached Song Fanxing and asked, "Hey sis, do you have any more peaches? Can you give your big brother one?"

Song Yaohui kicked him.

"roll!"

Song Yaohua: "Song Da Gou, she's our sister, don't call her that."

Song Fanxing spat out a mouthful of peach.

This name is truly...unbearable to hear.

His parents are so casual, how could they give their child such a name?

Song Dagou left the classroom reluctantly after failing to get any peaches.

Song Fanxing asked her two older brothers in a low voice.

Why did his parents name him Song Da Gou (Song the Big Dog)?

Song Yaohui: "You'd have to ask his parents, but they probably don't know either; they just picked it randomly."

In fact, most children in the village have names chosen randomly by their parents, but the names of the three siblings were come up by their father, Song Darong, after consulting various sources.
