Chapter 174 Rescue

Having been with Mr. Yan for ten years, how could Mo Yutong not know the forbearance behind his stiff reaction, but she couldn't give up halfway.

The youthful aura was strong, vaguely surging in the gently swaying candlelight, peeling off bit by bit, and then wrapping up again.

"Brother Li, it's okay, you can get up now." Under her palm was the man she loved the most. They used to be so close, but now there was a distance in time and space between them, and she didn't dare.

"I'll sleep here tonight." His body had an unspeakable reaction. He didn't dare to get up, let alone look up. He just lowered his head and spoke sullenly.

"Brother Li, good night!" She got up, closed the door, and slowly walked back to the bedroom.

Only after hearing the sound of the door closing next door did Yan Mingli dare to turn over and lie flat on the straw mat. He couldn't help but want to move his hands down, but then he clenched them into fists.

He curled up on his side, breathing heavily and feeling extremely uncomfortable. Sweat dripped down his forehead, and after a struggle, he gradually fell asleep.

In his daze, he heard the noisy cackling of chickens. Yan Mingli rubbed his eyes, turned over and sat up, quickly put on his shoes, rolled up the straw mat, and walked out of the room.

The yard was bathed in warm morning light. Beside the gutter sat a basin of clothes I hadn't washed last night. I'd originally planned to wash them after massaging my waist, but I hadn't expected...

Yan Mingli did not delay. After brushing his teeth and washing his face, he quickly scooped up water and washed his clothes.

When Mo Yutong woke up and walked into the yard, he had already folded the dried clothes on the chair and hung the washed clothes on the clothesline.

She even turned over the mushrooms and lilies and fed the chickens some corn grits that she had placed in a chipped bowl.

"Brother Li, what would you like to eat for breakfast?" The young man felt warm in the sunshine. Mo Yutong couldn't help but walk up to him and gently hugged him from behind.

The clean boy's scent made her feel unusually comfortable. She couldn't help but rub his back. The boy raised his lips, held her hand, and said softly, "Whatever Yutong wants to eat, I'll make it."

"Really? Then I want to eat..." She walked around in front of her, smiling cunningly, with sparkling light in her eyes.

"What do you want to eat? Just tell me, Yutong, and I will satisfy you." Vaguely sensing her intention, the young man smiled at her with his eyes curved.

"You." As soon as the words fell, the boy hugged her waist tightly and kissed her hard.

The desire that could not be relieved last night now overwhelmed Mo Yutong. As the boy's skills became more and more proficient, she softened in his arms, and was disturbed to the point of losing consciousness.

It was unknown how long it took before he finally let her go. Her eyes were filled with sparkling light, which made his heart flutter again. He really wanted to have sex with her, but he couldn't!

"Brother Li, how about we make some lean meat porridge?" Mo Yutong said quickly after finally coming back to her senses in his arms.

"Okay, I'll go make a fire." Yan Mingli supported her soft body and asked with a soft smile, "Can you walk by yourself?"

"Of course." She glared at him, shook off his hand, and walked towards the kitchen angrily.

He followed her into the kitchen, squatted in front of the stove, lit the dry leaves that had been prepared long ago and stuffed them into the stove, and then quickly stuffed in a few flammable firewood.

She took a toothbrush from the cupboard and started brushing her teeth and washing her face. After everything was cleaned up, she took out the meat filling and seaweed from the refrigerator of the Yunjiao store.

The delicious seaweed and lean meat porridge was quickly cooked by the two of them. Yan Mingli took away the firewood, and Mo Yutong went into the bedroom to wake up the two children.

After the children finished washing up, the four of them ate the delicious porridge with satisfaction.

After finishing breakfast and cleaning up, Mo Yutong gave Yan Mingli a new set of shirt and overalls and asked him to change into them quickly.

He ate what he had to eat and wore what he had to wear. He didn't ask too many questions about such obviously problematic things, or he didn't dare to ask too many questions.

He always had doubts in his heart. The bag that seemed to be able to produce countless things and the few words that the little girl accidentally revealed made the snowball of the truth in his heart grow bigger and bigger.

But he also firmly believed that everything the little girl did was because of him, and he even had the craziest idea: the little girl might have come here because of him.

This idea was terrifying, but it was the most likely one left after his clever brain eliminated countless impossibilities.

But the little girl didn't say anything, and he didn't dare to ask, for fear that if he asked too much, the girl would have to leave.

After changing clothes, the group quickly left home and took on the same work as yesterday. The members were busy working again.

Perhaps because she had severely criticized Nie Xiaoyu yesterday, she had not yet figured out how to defeat Mo Yutong, so the whole morning was peaceful.

All I could see were the busy figures of the members coming and going, and everyone who went to work was busy.

With so much work going on, it's impossible to take a break, otherwise you'll be constantly urged by other members.

When the bell rang for the end of work, the members straightened up and dragged their aching bodies back. They had to go home and rest during the lunch break, otherwise they might not be able to straighten their backs.

I made steamed corn and pork dumplings for lunch. Since I had to rush to the commune to pick up the package later, I didn’t make anything complicated.

Leaving the two children at home, Yan Mingli locked the door and took Mo Yutong on a bicycle to the commune post office.

Arriving at the post office with ease, Mo Yutong presented the parcel slip, and the staff immediately took out a large square wicker basket from the warehouse.

The basket was sealed, but it was ridiculously large. She didn't remember packing so much at home! Could it be that her parents had added a lot of things to her basket?

When Yan Mingli locked his bicycle and walked into the post office, he saw a large sealed basket that reached the height of the calf next to the little girl with a silly smile.
