This was because they were afraid that she was about to jump into the river. The little girl's sweet laughter echoed in the warm embrace of fireflies, and the boy in the water blushed even more.
He was impulsive and should have kept a pair of underwear for himself, but now he is trapped in this situation.
"Brother Li, are you cold?" She squatted by the stream, holding her face and looking at the boy in the dim light.
He was so handsome! His straight back shone with a healthy glow under the fireflies, and his handsome profile, angular yet gentle and beautiful, was reflected in the starlight.
"It's not cold!" He turned his body sideways gradually under the infatuated gaze of the little girl. His ears were burning frighteningly. He lowered his eyes to look at the unyielding stubbornness in the waves, sitting there not daring to move.
Now he just hoped that the little girl would be distracted by the beautiful fireflies, even if it was only for a minute, so that he could breathe a sigh of relief.
But in the little girl's eyes, the boy in the water looked more like an elf that had fallen into the human world than the cute insects on the shore.
She took off her shoes, rolled up her trouser legs, and stepped into the stream, walking towards her boy.
The boy was stunned, but before he could look back, his upper body was already wrapped in layers of warmth. It was the little girl's most gentle embrace.
"Brother Li, aren't you afraid of water? Can I come and accompany you?" The night wind was gentle, and the little girl's words were even gentler, trembling in his heart.
"Yutong, don't..." The young man raised his eyes, his dark eyes were flushed red, and drops of water were sliding down his wet temples, hanging on his chin, about to fall.
"Brother Li..." The young man glanced at him sideways, with a hint of restraint and forbearance, and his lips were pursed like the most determined warrior.
The little girl held his face in her hands, gently brushed away the hair that was scattered between his eyebrows, and kissed him so lightly and tenderly.
He straightened his back and couldn't help but hold the little girl's slender wrist and responded to her enthusiastically.
The light of the stars shyly fell from behind the clouds. The fireflies, intoxicated by the sweet love, stopped at the tip of the grass, staring at the two of them with their eyes flashing.
She seemed addicted and didn't even want to close her eyes. She just looked at him tenderly and kissed him insatiably in the gentle breeze.
He seemed like a confused young man who had lost his mind and thoughts. He just raised his head and tried to struggle with her.
"Brother Li, you are so handsome!" The little girl looked at him with eyes full of fascination. This was her boy, her man.
"Yutong is pretty." He smiled shyly, with the corners of his eyes reflecting the brightest spring light in the world.
"Brother Li, have you heard the story of the Seven Fairies?" She stared at the clothes in the grass and gently stroked his rosy lips, looking at them so beautiful that they seemed to be overflowing with sweet fragrance.
"Yutong, do you want to keep me here?" He followed her and put himself in the position of the Seven Fairies with flushed cheeks.
"I want to keep Brother Li for the rest of my life." The gentle and soft boy was someone Mo Yutong couldn't resist.
Even at this moment, she impulsively wanted to fall into the deepest fragrant world with him and taste the beauty of the softness and hardness of the world.
"Yutong, I will be here as long as you want me to." The boy made a promise, with deep love overflowing from his eyes.
"Brother Li..." She held his face and kissed him again. The boy still sat softly in the water, letting his little girl kiss him over and over again.
The deep kiss finally broke apart. Mo Yutong lowered her eyes embarrassedly and turned around, saying softly, "Just soak for a while and get up, don't catch a cold!"
"Okay, got it." He was still stubborn. He really couldn't get up, so he had to accept his fate and continue to soak. He responded with a red face.
Looking at the boy who was so embarrassed that he turned his back again, Mo Yutong walked to the shore, rolled down his trouser legs, put on his shoes, and folded the scattered clothes one by one and held them in his arms.
Hearing the rustling sound behind him, he quickly turned half sideways to look at her, his brows and eyes full of helplessness, "Yutong, put it down."
"Brother Li, are you afraid that I will come again?" She tilted her head and smiled softly, her eyes filled with the most bewitching charm.
That was the most charming spring scene after kissing the boy, blooming little by little from between his eyebrows and imprinted on his heart.
"Yutong, be good and put your clothes down." The boy's ears flushed red. He felt that the decision he made tonight was too hasty. He should have brought another set of clothes.
"Brother Li, be good and put it on quickly, otherwise I will be sad!" Seeing him sitting in the water pitifully, his face pale but with a beautiful red complexion, her heart softened.
"Turn around." Hearing the doting "good boy" lingering on her tongue, the boy's eyes softened into a pool of spring water.
"Okay, hurry up!" She curled the corners of her lips, tenderness flowing in her heart, slowly turned around and walked towards the tree she had just seen.
Fireflies fluttered around her, like a group of twinkling happy stars, lighting up the corners where the shadows of the trees were mottled.
Gradually, someone strode up from behind, hugged her tightly with a familiar breath, and rubbed her hot face gently with his cold lips.
"You're dressed so quickly." She smiled softly, turned around and hugged him back, her soft and sweet body gently touching his chin.
"I don't want to keep you waiting." The young man stroked her back, gently gazing at her beautiful face in the dim light, and couldn't help but kiss her gently.
Her lips were the most bewitchingly gentle in the world. He couldn't bear to let go and just wanted to stick to her forever, crushing her over and over again.
The curious fireflies were like the graceful dancers in poetry, surrounding the two of them with their soft light.
Until he hugged her tightly again, leaned against the big tree and looked up at the clear starry sky.
"Brother Li..." She lay on his side, her head resting gently on his shoulder, looking up at him carefully.
"The grass is very damp, just lie on me." He lowered his eyes and kissed her forehead, his fingers gently stroking her cheek.
"Yeah!" She stopped struggling and snuggled up to him, looking at the lovely little stars.
