Chapter 333 Go Back and Get Married

Looking at the three overjoyed boys, Yu Huiru said, "Look how happy these three children are. They've been worried sick these past few days. They've been helping with chores, cooking, and taking care of the children. They're so sensible. Now that Yuhan is safe, they can finally relax. Yuhan really did love them well."

Gu Qishen smiled and said, "These three boys dote on Yuhan in every way, and Yuhan also takes great care of them."

Yu Huiru said, "Qi Shen, you should rest today too. I'll cook something delicious for you all to celebrate Yu Han being out of danger."

Du Haifeng said, "Aunt He, I'll help you."

Yue Tingshan raised his hand and said, "I can cook too, and I'll help Auntie cook as well."

Du Haichao said, "I'll take care of the children."

Knowing that He Yuhan was safe, the family returned to its usual joy. Even the two little ones could feel the different atmosphere at home and became much happier as well.

In Kyoto, Han Yixian brought He Yuhan to his residence.

He Yuhan took a tour of the courtyard house as soon as she saw it was a two-courtyard siheyuan. It was a fairly typical two-courtyard siheyuan, well-maintained and clean, but the house had few things inside, making it seem empty and lacking in a sense of life.

Han Yixian followed behind He Yuhan and asked, "Do you like this house?"

After looking around, He Yuhan said, "I like it. This courtyard is really nice. It's considered a top-class house in Kyoto. Is this your house?"

Han Yixian held He Yuhan's hand and said, "This is the wedding room I prepared for us after I came back from Luancheng. You had an accident before it was fully prepared, and I no longer had the heart to tidy up this place, so it looks rather empty now, and many things are not prepared."

After I went to City C, this place has been empty ever since. I only stayed here for a few days this time since I came back. Let's stay here for a few days, and then we'll go back to City C after we've finished our business.”

He Yuhan nodded and said, "No problem. Is it okay if your house stays empty all the time? It'll easily fall into disrepair if it's left unoccupied for too long."

Han Yixian said, "It's alright, someone will come and clean here regularly. There are also people looking after it, so don't worry. My grandfather left me several houses, and I've lent out the others, otherwise they'd just be empty. This place will stay, so we'll have a place to stay when we come to Kyoto in the future."

"Alright, I'll boil some hot water for you. Take a bath to get rid of the bad luck."

He Yuhan said, "No need for that trouble. I'll go into my space to wash up. You come in with me, and we'll eat inside before coming out. No one will come in later, right?"

Han Yixian said, "We need to rest. No one will bother us now."

After the two locked the door to ensure no one would come in and disturb them, He Yuhan led Han Yi into the space.

After taking showers in their respective rooms, the two went to the kitchen together to cook a hearty lunch before leaving the space, probably because they were afraid someone would come and discover something was amiss.

Han Yi first prepared another room for He Yuhan, right across from his own room. He put a charcoal brazier in the room, but it still felt too cold, much colder than their home in City C.

Looking at the cold, lifeless double bed, he felt it wasn't as comfortable as the heated kang bed at his home in City C.

Han Yixian took the sun-dried quilt and was about to make the bed for He Yuhan.

Upon seeing this, He Yuhan quickly said, "Brother Han, I can do it myself."

Han Yixian said, "You rest, I'll do it, it'll be done in a bit. I'll make the bed and you can sleep for a while. You must be tired after not resting all night. This room isn't warm enough, and this bed is definitely not as comfortable as the heated kang bed we have at home in City C."

He Yuhan chimed in, "That's perfect. It's not cold in here at all. You haven't slept all night, so you should go and get some rest too. There's no need for us to be so polite."

Han Yi first spread out the quilt, touched the somewhat cold quilt, hesitated for a moment, and said, "Yuhan, if you feel cold sleeping in this bed, how about I warm the quilt for you? I'm very strong, I can warm the quilt for you in a little while."

He Yuhan blushed immediately and waved her hand, saying, "No need, I'm really not afraid of the cold."

Han Yixian really didn't want to be separated from his fiancée again. Shamelessly, he quickly took off his coat and crawled into the quilt, saying, "I'll warm you up and then I'll leave. I won't disturb your rest."

He Yuhan was dumbfounded by Han Yixian's quick movements; this guy was trying every possible way to avoid leaving.

Seeing He Yuhan standing by the bed looking somewhat dazed, Han Yixian got up, pulled her down to lie down, wrapped her in the blanket, and hugged her close. "You'll be warm in a little while."

He Yuhan didn't struggle anymore. They had hugged before and been through so much together. She completely trusted Han Yixian and relied on him a lot. With Han Yixian by her side, she actually felt very at ease.

She nestled into Han Yixian's arms, finding a more comfortable position, and soon felt warm all over. Han Yixian's body temperature was indeed higher than hers, and he was more energetic.

Han Yi was secretly pleased to see that He Yuhan did not struggle or reject him.

He hugged He Yuhan and gently kissed the top of her head, saying, "Yuhan, let's get married as soon as we get back. Don't wait until May. I want to marry you right away. My dad also wants me to marry you as soon as possible and not waste any more time."

This incident made me realize how much time we've wasted. I hope that from now on, you can be in front of me every day, that I can see you when I wake up every morning, and that I can hold each other's hands as I fall asleep every night.

He Yuhan rubbed her face against Han Yixian's chin and said, "Okay, let's get married when we get back."

She didn't want to waste any more time. They had already decided on each other, so why wait? Even after she got married, her parents would still be around. If she missed them, she could go back to see them or bring them to live with her.

As long as a family has love in their hearts and cares for each other, they will not grow apart even if they are not together.

Upon hearing He Yuhan's affirmative answer, Han Yixian excitedly hugged her tightly, saying, "Thank you, Yuhan, thank you for accepting my proposal. I will love you and cherish you for the rest of my life."

The two lovers, who were of one mind, poured out their feelings to each other. He Yuhan did not urge Han Yi to leave first, and the two of them unknowingly drifted off to sleep.

With Han Yixian, her "big furnace," by her side, He Yuhan slept peacefully and comfortably. Even though the charcoal brazier in the room had long since gone out, she didn't feel the slightest bit cold because Han Yixian's embrace was so warm.

The two of them hadn't rested much in the past few days and were exhausted, so they didn't wake up until dawn the next day.

Han Yi was the first to regain consciousness. When he opened his eyes and saw He Yuhan in his arms, he felt a sense of satisfaction he had never experienced before.
