After jumping off the cliff, He Yuhan counted a few times before taking Huo Xicheng into the space. This ensured that Huo Xicheng was unconscious, thus preserving more of the space's secrets.
He Yuhan brought Huo Xicheng directly to the bed in the small operating room of the villa. After letting out a sigh of relief, she laid the unconscious Huo Xicheng on the operating table. She had to quickly perform surgery on herself and Huo Xicheng to remove the bullet.
Despite the excruciating pain, He Yuhan examined her injuries in the mirror. Fortunately, the bullet had hit the outer part of her left shoulder, and she was able to remove it herself.
Huo Xicheng lost too much blood and needed a transfusion. She contacted Du Zhuoyuan immediately and asked him to prepare blood with the same blood type as Huo Xicheng and herself.
She herself also needed a blood transfusion.
Du Zhuoyuan quickly replied to He Yuhan, saying the blood transfusion was ready immediately, and he asked He Yuhan what had happened. Since a blood transfusion was needed, someone must have been injured.
He Yuhan only mentioned that a friend was injured and needed a blood transfusion, without saying that she herself was also injured.
While waiting for the blood, He Yuhan prepared the surgical instruments and, facing the mirror, painstakingly performed surgery on herself, removing the bullet from her shoulder.

She didn't lose as much blood as Huo Xicheng, so she only received one bag of plasma.
After giving herself a blood transfusion, He Yuhan found a large umbrella, opened it, and left the space, then began freefalling. However, with the large umbrella, He Yuhan's descent speed was reduced considerably.
Whenever there was danger, she would enter the space. After frequently entering and exiting the space, she finally landed safely on the ground.
With her feet firmly planted on the ground, He Yuhan breathed a huge sigh of relief. At least now she and Huo Xicheng were safe.
She put the large umbrella away and slinged her left arm in place to better protect her injured left shoulder.
He Yuhan looked around and found that she was in a valley with lush flowers, plants and trees all around. Fortunately, she did not find any large wild animals.
She didn't know if there was a way out of this valley. Such a secluded valley had surely never been visited before; she would have to discover the way out herself.
He Yuhan took out a long bamboo pole from her spatial storage and began searching for a way out of the valley.
Her first priority is to find a cave so she can get Huo Xicheng out of the space.
Her shoulder injury was easier to treat, but Huo Xicheng's injury, although not fatal, was still quite serious; he would need at least a few days to recover before he could walk again. Therefore, they needed to stay here to recover before going out.
He Yuhan walked along the valley in one direction for half a day but could not get out of the valley, nor could she find a way out.
The valley was densely forested, and all around were cliffs and precipices; she had no idea where the way out was. She could only rely on her instincts to keep going.
He Yuhan tried to walk along the cliff face on one side of the valley so that she could find any exits in time and not miss them. In case she got lost, she also made some marks along the way to at least prove that she had passed through this area.
She walked and stopped, not knowing how far she had gone, before finally finding a cave at the bottom of a cliff. The cave entrance was surrounded by tall wild grass, and it would have been difficult to spot the cave if He Yuhan hadn't been paying close attention.
The cave entrance has a gentle slope from the valley floor, so entering the cave is effortless.
He Yuhan parted the grass and used a bamboo pole to knock on the surrounding grass. Finding no danger, she entered the cave.
She found the cave wasn't large, but it was perfectly adequate for her and Huo Xicheng. She was relieved to see that the cave wasn't damp and wasn't some kind of animal den.
It seems they can settle here for the time being.
He Yuhan knew that Huo Xicheng would wake up soon, and that follow-up treatment was necessary, otherwise he might suffer from long-term effects.
She knew it would take time for the rescuers to find them, and their location would inevitably be exposed, but she only let Huo Xicheng know a little bit.
Huo Xicheng was willing to risk his life for her, and she couldn't possibly refuse to treat Huo Xicheng in order to keep the secret of the space.
Having made her decision, He Yuhan took out a sickle from her spatial storage and used one hand to clear away the weeds at the entrance of the cave. Fortunately, she had only injured her left shoulder; her right hand was fine for working, otherwise it would have been a real problem.
After cleaning the cave entrance, He Yuhan began to take out some items from her spatial storage to decorate the cave.
First, she sprinkled some insect repellent powder in the cave to ensure that the insects would not bother them; then she laid a layer of dry grass on the ground, then a moisture-proof mat, and then several layers of cotton quilts on top of the moisture-proof mat, and with the pillows in place, it became a fairly comfortable bed.
After setting up the bed, He Yuhan went into the space. She checked Huo Xicheng's condition and found it to be relatively stable, so she brought him out of the space.
Because Huo Xicheng's injury was on his back, they could only let him lie face down for the time being. Then they took out the metal frame for hanging IV bags, hung up the prepared IV fluids, and continued to give Huo Xicheng an IV drip.
After arranging Huo Xicheng and He Yuhan, she took out some cooking utensils and food. She placed a clay pot on a gas stove at the entrance of the cave and began to simmer chicken soup.
After Huo Xicheng wakes up, he can drink some chicken soup and eat some easily digestible foods like porridge.
He Yuhan also prepared a bed for herself just like Huo Xicheng's. Because the cave space was limited, she could only sit next to Huo Xicheng.
He Yuhan tried to take out as few things as possible, so that less of what was exposed would be revealed.
Along the way, He Yuhan encountered no large animals other than small animals such as rabbits, pheasants, eagles, and wild birds.
This is not a good sign, because these animals may have originally been here, and the valley may be enclosed, surrounded by cliffs with no way out. If that's the case, the only way out of the valley would be to climb those cliffs.
He Yuhan hoped that things wouldn't turn out the way she imagined, otherwise it would be difficult for them to get out.
However, she hadn't given up hope of finding a way out; after all, she hadn't explored the entire valley yet. Perhaps somewhere inconspicuous, there was a path leading out of the valley?
The most important thing now is to get Huo Xicheng fully recovered from his injury. With the two of them together, they might be able to find a way out.
If there's truly no way out, then their only option is to climb out. That can only be considered after both of their injuries have fully healed.
