After spending the night in the space, Han Yixian and He Yuhan changed into very ordinary clothes that they often wore in mainland China. After having breakfast and settling their son in, the two of them left the space.
It was already broad daylight, so the two walked along the coastline, knowing they would eventually encounter populated areas.
The two of them weren't in a hurry. As they walked, they picked up some seafood on the beach. In this era of frugality, there's never too much food.
After walking all morning, the couple finally saw many fishing boats on the beach not far away. They were overjoyed to see the fishing boats, because the presence of fishing boats meant that there were people living there, and they must have arrived at a fishing village.
The couple headed towards the fishing boats and saw a man cleaning his nets on the beach. Now they could ask around to find out where they were.
Liu Jinhai, who was mending fishing nets on the beach, was curious when he saw two people walking towards him in the distance. These two people did not look like people from their area; their clothes indicated that they were not from the countryside.
As Han Yi approached, he saw a young man mending fishing nets and greeted him, "Hello, sir, how far is the nearest village from here?"

Liu Jinhai said, "Our village isn't far from the sea. Where did you come from? What are you doing here?"
Han Yixian laughed and began to make up a story: "We are from out of town. My wife has never seen the sea and wanted to see it, so I brought her to the beach. We've walked all this way along the beach and are quite far from where we came from, so we wanted to find a village nearby to ask for a bowl of water."
Liu Jinhai, without a second thought, said, "Then you can come to our village. Well then, since I'm going home anyway, you can come home with me."
Upon hearing this, Han Yixian happily said, "Thank you so much, bro."
Liu Jinhai was wearing a sleeveless vest, his exposed skin tanned dark and shiny. Although the vest didn't have much fabric, it had several patches, and the original color of the fabric was almost unrecognizable. The fabric had been washed thin, clearly indicating that it had been worn for a long time.
After they introduced themselves, Liu Jinhai led Han Yixian and his wife towards the village.
Soon Han Yixian and He Yuhan saw a path in the woods, clearly worn out by people walking on it over a long period of time.
Once inside the woods, the tall trees provided shade from the scorching sun, making it much cooler.
Han Yixian said, "It's so hot now, and the sun is so strong at noon, why are you still mending fishing nets on the beach?"
Liu Jinhai said somewhat shyly, "That's the brigade's fishing net. You can earn work points by mending fishing nets, and I wanted to earn more work points. My family is really struggling."

Liu Jinhai said, "They came into the village asking for a bowl of water and happened to run into me, so I brought them home. Jinmei, quickly pour water for the guests."
People with good looks are always easily given preferential treatment. When Liu Jinmei saw the two guests, her eyes lit up. Just by looking at their clothes, appearance and temperament, she knew that the two were from the city and from very well-off families.
She readily agreed, "Okay, I'll go get some water right away." Then she went to the kitchen to get some water.
Liu Jinhai led Han Yixian and his wife into the house and said, "Brother Han, sister-in-law, please sit down. The water will be here soon. Have you two not eaten lunch yet? We have plenty of seafood here, so please have a simple meal at our place."
