Han Yixian said, "I'll make millet porridge for you tonight, and I'll steam a bowl of egg custard for you, along with some pickled vegetables. And maybe some stir-fried cabbage with vinegar?"
He Yuhan said, "That's all. When you steam the egg custard for your son, steam a little extra and give me some. I can't eat much. I'll just have some porridge. I wouldn't even want to eat this if it weren't for my medicine. I'll have some fruit tonight."
Han Yi nodded and said, "Okay, we'll do it your way. You lie down, I'll go take a look."
Han Yi quickly dressed, covered He Yu with a blanket, and left the bedroom.
Right now, Xiao Xurui was being very active, playing in the living room with Wen Jinyu and Liu Zhongyi beside him. Han Xiao, on the other hand, was sitting on the sofa, reading a document.
Seeing Han Yixian come out, Wen Jinyu asked, "Yixian, how is Yuhan? Has her fever gone down?"
Han Yixian said, "The fever has subsided. Yuhan feels much better."
Upon hearing this, Wen Jinyu happily said, "That's great. Ask Yuhan what she wants to eat tonight, and I'll make it for her."
Han Yixian said, "I asked, and Yuhan said she just wants something light. I think we should make millet porridge tonight, and when we steam egg custard for Xurui, we should steam a little extra for Yuhan. We can also make some side dishes. Yuhan won't eat much tonight anyway."
Wen Jinyu nodded and said, "She's just feeling a bit better, so she probably doesn't have much of an appetite. It's best if she eats something light. Yuhan isn't feeling well, so Xiaorui will sleep with us tonight to avoid catching the illness. You all should get some rest tonight too."
That evening, He Yuhan ate half a bowl of steamed egg custard and a small bowl of millet porridge with some pickled vegetables, but couldn't eat anymore. Her fever had just subsided, and her appetite hadn't returned.
After dinner, Han Yi handed the child over to his mother and went back to his room to rest early.
