When Han Yi parked the car, Gu Qishen and He Zhenhua heard the noise and came out. They had taken the day off to wait at home for the furniture to be unloaded, afraid of missing the deadline.
Gu Qishen and He Zhenhua noticed that the planks were all in sets and asked, "Why are they all planks? Do we have to install them ourselves?"
Han Yi nodded and said, "I know how to install this. This way of transporting it back saves space. This truck can carry a lot of furniture. And when unloading the furniture, we don't have to worry about damaging it. There are still some pieces of furniture that haven't been finished yet; I'll transport them back after they're done."
Upon hearing this, Gu Qishen said, "That's true. If we assemble the wooden furniture and then transport it back, it will take several trips. We're also bound to bump and knock things over when unloading it. Since you know how to assemble it, then there's no problem. We've taken the day off today, so we'll follow your instructions and help you out."
He Yuhan carried a package into her yard. She liked the environment as soon as she saw it, and was even more satisfied with the house.

Han Yi put down what he was holding and said, "That's right. We are really lucky that both brothers in the family sold their houses, which is why we were able to become neighbors with Qi Shen and his family."
Following He Yuhan's instructions, the men carried all the items from the car into the two courtyards.
Then Han Yi took out all the tools and began assembling the furniture. Gu Qishen and He Zhenhua also helped assemble some simple tables and chairs.

With Han Yixian, an experienced worker, and with the help of Gu Qishen and He Zhenhua, all the furniture that had been delivered was installed in just one afternoon.
This time, Han Yixian and his team brought back four beds, wardrobes for four bedrooms, two dining tables and matching chairs, as well as matching bedding, curtains, duvet covers, pots and pans, and other daily necessities. With these, they could at least make ends meet.
Once the mattress and sheets are put on the bed, and the curtains are hung up, the room immediately becomes much cozier, more lived-in, and feels like home.
After making up He Zhenhua's bed, He Zhenhua sat on the bed and said, "Now we can move in."
Gu Qishen nodded and said, "If we move our things from the family compound, we won't lack anything. Yixian, the furniture there was already there, so we don't need to move it. We just need to move the things we bought ourselves after we arrived."
Han Yixian said, "Then you go back and pack up tonight, and I'll come help you move tomorrow at noon. We'll use this truck to move everything at once."
Gu Qishen nodded and said, "Okay, then Zhenhua and I will go back and pack up today."
There was a stove and a large eight-seal pot in the kitchen, left over from the previous owner. He Yuhan didn't want to use the old pot anymore, so she replaced it with a new one and put the old one into her spatial storage. She planned to replace the old pot after her older brother and the others left.
He Yuhan saw that there was still some firewood left by the previous residents in the coal shed, so she carried some to the kitchen, cleaned the big pot, and cooked some tomato and egg noodles in the big pot.
She carried several large bowls of noodles to the dining table and called out over the courtyard wall, which was more than half a person's height, "Brother Yi, are you done yet? Time to eat."
Upon hearing his wife's call, Han Yixian said, "Let's go eat. After we eat, you can go back to your family compound."
After closing the door, the group went to He Yuhan's place. They washed their hands in the yard and went inside. On the dining table were several bowls of noodles, a plate of sliced sausages, a dish of pickled vegetables with sesame oil, and a dish of kimchi. Seeing these, the group immediately felt hungry.
He Zhenhua sat down and said, "I can eat my little sister's cooking again."
After saying that, he put some kimchi into his bowl and started slurping it down.
Han Yixian and Gu Qishen were also hungry, so they didn't need to be invited and started eating as soon as they picked up their bowls.
He Yuhan said, "There's still a lot left in the bowl, so eat as much as you can and don't leave any. If you leave the noodles, you can't use them."
He Yuhan cooked a lot of noodles, enough for everyone to eat their fill.
With Han Yixian and his group around, there was no way the noodles would be left over; they even ate all the sausages, pickled vegetables, and kimchi.
He Zhenhua let out a burp, leaned back in his chair, and rubbed his stomach, saying, "It's so wonderful to be able to eat my little sister's cooking again. I feel like I haven't had a full meal in a long time. It's mainly because Qi Shen and I aren't very good cooks; the food we make is just cooked through, and the taste is just so-so."
Gu Qishen put down his empty bowl, took out a handkerchief to wipe his mouth, and laughed, "The food we made is probably only edible for the two of us. It's barely palatable. It's worlds apart from Yuhan's cooking."
Gu Qishen was secretly delighted at the thought of becoming neighbors with He Yuhan. Not only would he be able to see He Yuhan every day, but he would also be able to eat the meals she cooked. He felt that coming to Qianyuan County was the right decision.
He could live with his son again; what could be better than that? He was full of anticipation for the future.
