When Han Yixian and the others returned home, the food was already on the table.
He Yuhan filled a basin with water in the yard and said, "You guys wash up quickly and eat, the food is getting cold."

Wen Jinyu laughed and said, "Ever since Yixian lifted Xiaorui up once, the little guy has been thinking about it and wants his dad to lift him up high every day. He's such a clever little devil. Life is so lively with these three kids."
The three men played with the child for a while before starting to eat.
Seeing that Yuan Qihua hadn't returned, He Yuhan said, "Qihua hasn't come back for several days. Brother Yi, I left some vegetables for Qihua to take to him tomorrow. Tell him that work is important, but health is also important. Tell him not to work so hard and to go home when he should."

Han Yixian held his son and looked after the child while He Yuhan took a bath.
Little Xu Rui was very excited today and wanted his dad to lift him up high. "Dad, lift me up high, lift me up high!"
Han Yixian said, "It's time for bed soon. Dad will lift you up high again tomorrow. How about Mom tells you a story later?"

He Yuhan said, "As the child grows older, he's bound to be curious about the outside world. We'll take him out to play more often in the future. Children can't always be kept at home."

Han Yixian chuckled and kissed He Yuhan's hand, saying, "There are always so many people in our family, we can't really do anything freely. You always hold your tongue when we're out, it's much more convenient to go into the space. I really wish it were just the two of us at home."
We're not in a rush to have a second child. Having one already takes up so much of your energy; if we have another, you'll have even less time for me.
He Yuhan rolled her eyes at Han Yixian and said, "You're jealous of your own child?"
Han Yixian hugged He Yuhan and sighed, saying, "When I'm at work, I miss you so much if I don't see you for a day. I really wish I could shrink you down and put you in my pocket so I could take you with me wherever I go."
He Yuhan laughed and said, "Why are you so clingy, like a child?"
Han Yixian kissed He Yuhan and laughed, "I don't want to stick to anyone else, I just want to stick to you."
It was still early outside, so the couple lay in bed for a while longer, talked for a bit, and then got up to take a shower before taking their child out of the space.
