Chapter 759 There are ways to educate children

Han Xiao, listening to his grandson's loud cries from outside, laughed and said, "This kid has a long breathing range. Listen to how loud and energetic his cries are. He'll definitely grow up to be a very strong young man."

Wen Jinyu laughed and said, "Our children are all quite strong, none of them are weak. Look at Huayang and the others' appetites now, they've clearly grown. They're all growing like little calves."

Gu Qishen laughed and said, "In two more years, I'll be a half-grown boy who will eat my father out of house and home, and I'll be able to eat even more then."

Han Xiao said, "Even if they eat a lot, our family can afford it. The children are at the stage of growing up, so even if the adults eat less, we must make sure the children are full. Only when they are full can they grow up."

Wen Jinyu said, "That's for sure. Yuhan and Yixian won't let the children go hungry. Besides, our family won't lack food."

He Chenglin said, "We live off the mountains and the water. We have many mountains here, so hunting is no problem. There's also plenty of water, so we can catch fish and shrimp, which are good things that can replace food."

"Now that our yard is so big, we can grow more vegetables, and more varieties too. We can grow more potatoes and sweet potatoes, which can also be used as staple foods. As long as we work hard, we won't go hungry."

Soon everyone stopped hearing the baby crying and knew that Xiao Xuhui was being fed. Han Yixian was definitely comforting his own little daughter.

He Chenglin and his wife were very pleased with Han Yixian's behavior. Seeing how often their son-in-law had helped their daughter take care of the child, they were convinced that their son-in-law was indeed a loving and devoted husband. Their daughter hadn't married the wrong person.

Zhou Zhengye wanted to see the baby after the baby woke up, but he knew He Yuhan was probably breastfeeding, so it wasn't appropriate for him to go in. He decided to finish his meal first.

Everyone ate and chatted, and soon Han Yixian and He Yuhan came out.

Zhou Zhengye asked, "Where is my goddaughter? Can I go see her?"

Han Yixian said, "She ate and then fell asleep again. The child is too young to eat much, so she sleeps most of the time. Let's eat first, and then we'll go see the child. Maybe she'll wake up for a while then."

Han Yixian and his wife continued eating at the dining table.

After dinner, the two children were still asleep, so Han Yixian took Zhou Zhengye into the room to check on them.

The two children have changed a lot; they are fair-skinned and tender, and their little mouths move from time to time while they are sleeping, which is so adorable.

Zhou Zhengye felt incredibly tender looking at his goddaughter. The little darling was looking more and more like He Yuhan; she would definitely be as beautiful as her mother when she grew up.

He gently touched his goddaughter's face with his index finger; it felt even softer than a peeled egg. He only dared to touch it lightly, afraid of waking the child.

He pointed outside and whispered, "Let's go outside, so we don't wake the child."

Han Yixian nodded silently and left the room where the child was sleeping with Zhou Zhengye.

Upon entering the living room, Zhou Zhengye remarked, "The children are so adorable. I would be perfectly content if I had two children like them."

Han Yixian said, "You can divorce Wang Guixiang soon. After the divorce, find a nice woman to marry, have a few children with her, and that's it."

Gu Qishen also said, "That's right. Your marriage with Wang Guixiang is just in name only. It won't be difficult for you to find another wife in the future. Just find a good woman to marry, have a few children, and you'll be settling down."

Wen Jinyu, sitting on the sofa, listened to what the others were saying and said, "A man needs a woman who cares for him and has a child to make a complete family."

Zhengye can't be so casual when he looks for a wife in the future; he has to choose carefully himself. At the very least, she has to be someone he likes, and they have mutual attraction, so that they don't dislike each other from the start.

Even after marriage, couples need to care for and tolerate each other for the relationship to last.

Your parents must be feeling bad about what you're doing now. If you find a wife you like and live a good life, they'll feel less guilty.

Don't blame your parents; I suspect they were misled too.

Zhou Zhengye said, "Aunt Wen, don't worry, I won't argue with my parents. They're having a hard time too. It's already a miracle that they've managed to keep their family together."

After chatting with the elders for a while, Zhou Zhengye, Han Yixian, and Gu Qishen went into the study to discuss their next steps.

Han Xiao and He Chenglin didn't get involved. They decided to leave the rest to the younger generation and focus on enjoying their retirement.

He Yuhan didn't get involved in the men's affairs; she just focused on doing her own thing.

After dinner, He Yuhan rested for a while and then boiled water to bathe the children. Now Huayang and Haobo both felt they were old enough and were embarrassed to let adults bathe them anymore, so both children insisted on bathing themselves.

He Yuhan also consciously trained her children's self-care abilities, so she let the two children take baths by themselves.

Xu Rui and Xu Gan still get bathed by their parents. The two children are having a blast sitting in the big bathtub; it's their favorite part of the day because they can play in the water openly now.

The two children were splashing and playing in the big bathtub, laughing happily.

Sometimes, Xiaoxu would deliberately tease his mother, then laugh even more heartily.

He Yuhan would also tease her son back, treating it as a game with the children.

He Yuhan's clothes quickly got wet next to the large bathtub. She was already prepared with clean clothes to change into.

Usually, Han Yixian would bathe the children first. If He Yuhan bathed them, she would wait until the two children were finished before calling Han Yixian to take them away, and then she would take a bath herself.

Today, Han Yixian and Zhou Zhengye were talking in the study, and He Yuhan didn't call her husband.

Wen Jinyu and Yu Huiru came to hold the two children. They were clean and smelled wonderful; everyone loved the two little ones.

Wen Jinyu and Yu Huiru happily carried the two children into the house and put them in clean pajamas on the bed. Then they let them play on the bed for a while before going to sleep.

Gu Huayang and He Haobo had finished their homework before dinner. He Yuhan was worried that the dim light at night would be bad for their eyes, so she tried to keep the children from reading or studying.

However, she would teach the children about history, language, and other subjects, as well as some inspirational stories, and then ask them questions to help them develop their thinking skills.

The children love this activity the most in the evening. They stay quietly in bed listening to He Yuhan's stories, and it has become a habit.

Wen Jinyu and the others all felt that He Yuhan had a knack for educating children and agreed with her methods. Therefore, neither the elders nor Han Yixian and Gu Qishen ever objected to or hindered He Yuhan's approach to raising children; instead, they all supported her.

They all felt that He Yuhan was so good at educating children that it was a real shame she wasn't a teacher.
