Fu Hongxing wanted to go into the operating room, but when the nurse saw that he wanted to go in, her face darkened and she stopped him outside the operating room door.
As the light on the operating room door came on, Fu Hongxing paced anxiously back and forth outside.
A passing nurse, seeing this, felt her eyes were practically turning into mosquito coils, and kindly advised, "Giving birth isn't that quick for a pregnant woman. You should quickly prepare the baby's swaddling blanket and other things, otherwise you won't be able to manage by yourself when the mother comes out."
Upon hearing the nurse's words, Fu Hongxing quickly nodded in agreement and turned to run towards the quiet ward.
He remembered some things Ning Jing had asked him to buy, and he had put them all in the closet.
When they arrived at the ward, thankfully, everything they needed was there; Ning Jing had prepared everything very well.
Seeing that everything was available and there was no need to buy anything else, Fu Hongxing turned and rushed to the operating room, waiting anxiously.
Because it was her first pregnancy, the biggest fear with twins was a difficult birth. If she couldn't give birth naturally, the doctors were prepared to perform a cesarean section.
However, the doctor did not expect that the two children would be so effective.
Less than five hours after I entered the delivery room, my fingers were fully dilated.
The two babies were racing each other; as soon as one was born, the other slid out afterward.
"Oh, these two boys are really good to their mother."
Upon seeing this, the doctor smiled and said, while lifting the child by both feet, he patted the child's bottom.
After hearing a loud cry from the two children, they were handed over to the nurse next to them.
The nurses each carried one of the boys, first hanging a tag on the older brother's ankle, and then carrying him to the side to be weighed.
And you know what? Even though they're twins, the two boys don't weigh much less than a singleton.
The eldest weighed a full five pounds and eight ounces, while the second was slightly lighter, weighing five pounds and one ounce.
Both babies are at the target weight and do not require special care.
After weighing them, the nurse wrapped them in a swaddle blanket and sent the two children out.
“Ning Jing’s family, two children, this is the older one, hold him tight.”
The delivery was so quick that it made things much easier for the doctors and nurses, so the nurse had a big smile on her face when the baby was delivered.
Fu Hongxing froze on the spot when she heard the child crying.
When the nurse brought the baby out and placed him in his hands, he seemed like a wooden doll.
Looking left and right, the two children, though differing by a few ounces in weight, looked exactly alike.
His face was red, and his eyelids were swollen and tightly closed, as if he was uncomfortable being held by his father, Fu Hongxing, and he unconsciously turned his head.
"How...how can it look so ugly?"
Fu Hongxing was dumbfounded. He and Ning Jing were both good-looking, so how come their child was so ugly?
The nurse who came out carrying the child widened her eyes upon hearing Fu Hongxing's words and carefully examined the child in his arms.
"Not ugly at all. With such delicate features, you'll know he'll be handsome when he grows up."
After saying that, he glared at Fu Hongxing.
How did this father manage to be so incompetent?
She actually started to dislike her own child!
Fu Hongxing had no idea what the nurse was thinking. When he heard her say that, he just listened to it.
Even if your own child is ugly, they are still your own flesh and blood.
What's more, their mother is still in the operating room!
Ignoring the question of whether the child was handsome or not, Fu Hongxing anxiously leaned forward and asked, "Where is the mother? How is my wife?"
