Chapter 925 Complaining

Just as Ning Jing finished scrubbing vigorously with soap and was rinsing with clean water, Wang Guihua arrived at her door.

A few years ago, the year after Ning Jingsheng moved west and north, Zhao Genmu, the second son of the Zhao family, got married. He married the girl from the neighboring family of Wang Guihua's family.

The girl was very diligent, but she didn't talk much.

The third brother, Zhao Genshu, also got married a few years ago. Although his wife was a bit stingy, she was good to her husband.

Therefore, Wang Guihua turned a blind eye and didn't interfere much in the affairs of her two daughters-in-law.

When Zhao Gendi was 18, she was married off by Wang Guihua.

Life wasn't too good, but it wasn't too bad either.

Only the eldest son, Zhao Genlin, is already 33 years old, but he still has no plans to get married.

Actually, it's not that there wasn't any. At first, because of Gao Dani's incident, Wang Guihua was once bitten by a snake and was afraid of ropes for ten years, so she became much more cautious about finding a wife.

Later, Zhao Genlin went to learn carpentry, and to learn the craft, he had to live in his master's house.

This arrangement lasted for more than a decade. Even though Zhao Genlin originally had the intention to get married, he is now older, and the previous experience has made him more indifferent to such matters.

Zhao Genlin wasn't in a hurry, but Wang Guihua was!

Upon learning that Ning Jing had returned, she came to complain.

"Sister-in-law, Genlin is a grown man, he has his own plans and ideas, you don't need to worry too much."

After rinsing the jacket in a basin of water, Ning Jing and Wang Guihua wrung it out and set it aside. They then emptied the basin, refilled it, and put the wrung-out jacket back into the basin to rinse.

After listening to Wang Guihua's complaints, Ning Jing could only offer some words of advice.

"What are his plans? He's such a grown man, all he's grown is his height and not his brain. Genmu's wife is pregnant again, but he doesn't even know where she is."

Wang Guihua vented her frustration and said bitterly.

“When I talked to him about getting married, he avoided me and wouldn’t go home.”

After the third son, Zhao Genshu, got married, the Zhao family, just like before, gave each of the three sons their own room, and then used a wall to separate the room in the middle of the room of the neighboring brothers' family.

In this way, each household has its own separate entrance and exit, making it impossible for them to interact together.

Most importantly, once the distinction is clear, none of the three sons or their wives will feel wronged or resentful.

However, because the eldest son had been living at his master's house for a long time.

The room originally assigned to him became a source of restlessness after his second wife became pregnant again.

After all, the house was originally separated into two rooms when they got married. When they have more money in the future, Zhao Genmu and his family can naturally buy bricks and tiles to build a new house.

Unfortunately, the money earned wasn't even enough to buy enough food for the family to share, let alone spare money to buy bricks and tiles!

At the time, the two brothers didn't have any other thoughts; they just wanted to fill their stomachs.

When they first got married, the conflicts weren't very apparent.

But now, after her two sons got married and their wives gave birth, she has her own agenda.

If the eldest son gets married and lives in that house, his two daughters-in-law certainly won't have those kinds of thoughts.

But the eldest brother lives at his master's house all year round, and rarely comes back even during holidays, just like a guest.

The two daughters-in-law naturally set their sights on their brother-in-law's empty room, and Wang Guihua knew exactly what they were thinking.

However, she didn't want the three brothers to have a conflict over this.

So she tried to find a wife for Zhao Genlin, but unfortunately, her silly son was unwilling.
