Young Master Lin, an outsider, got a job in the county government thanks to Yun Duo's favors. Wang Tiejun, on the other hand, is Yun Duo's own brother, born of the same mother! How could he possibly suffer a loss in front of the county magistrate?
He also promised Zhao Cuifen that as long as he got a government job and a government salary, he would bring Zhao Cuifen to live in the county town so that she could live the good life of an old lady from an official family and would never be bullied by Yun Youliang again.
Zhao Cuifen had been severely beaten by Yun Youliang recently. He made her eat three meals a day plus a late-night snack. Even though she fought back, Yun Youliang was a man and much stronger than her, so she suffered a lot.
