Chapter 292 Losing First

These students are indeed quite good; they immediately follow instructions after just one lesson. Teacher Zhou was satisfied, but her expression only softened slightly. She then pointed to one student and said, "This student, do you have anything to say?"

The boy whose name was called quickly stood up, looked at Teacher Zhou and said, "Teacher, we didn't know there were classroom rules. If we had known, we would have followed them."

The other students instinctively wanted to speak up in agreement, but remembering what Teacher Zhou had said earlier, they swallowed their words and just kept nodding to express their inner thoughts.

Teacher Zhou nodded and said in a gentler tone than before, "Yes, I know you are all good children and good students. If you know the classroom rules, you will not break them. I trust you on that point."

The boys all smiled unconsciously, their lips twitching into grins.

Before they could even finish laughing, Teacher Zhou's next words rang in their ears: "But have you ever thought about the girl next to Zhou Xiaogang? She was just like you, unaware of the classroom rules beforehand. She didn't know beforehand, yet she did so well. If she had known, wouldn't she have done even better than you?"

It seems...that's how it is?

Although they felt uneasy, the boys had to admit that Teacher Zhou's words seemed to make some sense. However, they were unwilling to simply admit that they were inferior to the girls.

After a long pause, the boy who had been allowed to stand up and speak finally continued, "Okay, teacher, then let's listen to you. We'll compare scores after the exam. If she loses, she has to go home."

Before Teacher Zhou could speak, Yun Duo raised her hand. Teacher Zhou immediately nodded, pointed at Yun Duo, and said, "That student, if you have something to say, just say it."

"Thank you, teacher." Yun Duo stood up, thanked Teacher Zhou first, and then looked at Teacher Zhou and said, "Teacher, I would like to ask the students first, does what the student who stood up said represent their thoughts? If so, then I will share my thoughts; if not..."

Yun Duo didn't finish her sentence, but instead looked at Teacher Zhou with a smile.

This little girl.

Teacher Zhou almost chuckled, and couldn't help but scold him in her heart. After thinking for a moment, she said, "Since that's the case, let's have the students raise their hands to vote and see if you agree that this student should be the one to vote..." She paused here and asked, "By the way, what's your name, student?"

"Teacher, my name is Du Xuefeng," said the boy who was still standing.

"Okay." Teacher Zhou nodded and continued, "Then please raise your hands to show your opinion. If you agree that Du Xuefeng can speak on your behalf, please raise your right hand. Oh, the hand that's next to the door. Just raise it."

As soon as Teacher Zhou finished speaking, some male students raised their hands. At first, it was a few and far between, but soon many people raised their hands. A few people originally wanted to "resist" a little, but under the pressure of the whole class's gaze, they couldn't withstand it and raised their hands anyway.

Du Xuefeng was extremely pleased with himself. He raised his chin and said to Yun Duo, "Alright, go ahead and say it."
