Li Bingchen hesitated, but at least his gaze towards Yun Duo wasn't accusatory anymore. Although he was still somewhat skeptical of Yun Duo's words, he breathed a sigh of relief upon learning why she had said she was "giving" the seeds to foreigners. At least it wasn't short-sighted or even a sign of "treason."
Although he liked Yunduo very much and considered her his best and only friend, he wasn't without limits.

"Can we beat them?" Yun Duo asked Li Bingchen again.
Li Bingchen shook his head in frustration, but stubbornly said, "But we are not afraid!"
“But if the situation continues to escalate… our homes could be destroyed, and many other people’s homes could be destroyed, right?” Yun Duo asked Li Bingchen.
