Chapter 712 Ants

"What's going on? Why are there so many ants? Damn it! What have you done? Ugh! Damn it, get out of here, you damn... ugh... damn it... quick, get the insecticide, hurry! Insecticide!"

An angry voice could be heard coming from a secret outpost of the Japanese embassy in Kyoto, China.

This is a very ordinary courtyard house. On the surface, it is the residence of a small businessman. It is well maintained, and you rarely see ants or insects.

But today, for some reason, a lot of ants suddenly swarmed out, as if someone had disturbed ten or a hundred ant nests. These ants were aggressive and bit anyone they saw, quickly leaving several people rolling on the ground in pain.

Of course, someone quickly brought out insecticide, and without caring about dosage, sprayed it directly onto the ants on the ground. Soon, the ground was covered with a thick layer of dead ants.

These ants that appeared at the secret base in Ying Kingdom immediately were actually ordinary ants that came to "rescue" Xiao Jiu after sensing the pheromones released by her. They were not the ones that had been enhanced by Xiao Jiu.

Aside from the small group given to Li Bingchen, only a very small number of the ants and bees that Xiao Jiu had enhanced were secretly kept at Gu Shaoyong's house as daily 'guards and bodyguards'. The vast majority of them were actually hidden in the suburbs, especially in the mountains outside Beijing.

Gu Shaoyong's home is some distance from this secret outpost in Yingguo. The ants and bees there sensed Xiao Jiu's pheromones relatively late, so they haven't arrived yet. Those further away, in the outskirts of Beijing and in the mountains, haven't sensed it yet, so naturally, they're even less likely to come.

Therefore, the ants that have come now are not very combative. After being exposed to the 'insecticide,' very few ants survive. They are easily swatted, crushed, or killed, and they do not cause any substantial harm to the Japanese spies in this yard.

Even so, those Japanese spies were still apprehensive.

Some even suggested relocating.

Of course, this suggestion was rejected without hesitation by Yamamoto Ichiro, the person in charge of the secret base.

"It's just a few ants, not even Chinese people who discovered our stronghold. You're all so scared. It's a disgrace to our Great Ying Empire!"

That's what Ichiro Yamamoto said.

Less than three minutes after he finished speaking, a second wave of ants and bees arrived.

A group of mutated (enhanced) wasps, smaller than normal wasps with slender waists, and large ants with several pairs of wings that could fly quickly in the air attacked the group of Japanese spies.

In just one brief skirmish, several Japanese spies fell to the ground, their fates unknown, under the attack of mutated wasps and giant ants.

The insecticide was all used up. What they didn't know was that these mutated wasps and giant ants, enhanced by Xiao Jiu, were not afraid of insecticide. Unless they were directly thrown into the insecticide solution and soaked for more than half an hour, they simply wouldn't be killed.

"Get back inside, close the door! Close the windows!" Yamamoto Ichiro ordered, his face ashen.

Watching the enormous ants outside frantically yet methodically attacking the wooden window frame, a subordinate anxiously asked, "Yamamoto-kun, what should we do now?"
