Jiang Sisi didn't expect Qian Duoduo to say that. Looking at Qian Duoduo who was about to leave, she said, "Qian Mao and I have a very good relationship."
Qian Duoduo turned around and looked at her: "When your family had a crisis, you were on the verge of death, and it was us roommates who took care of you and comforted you. But how did you treat us? When a roommate had a crisis, you were the one who almost stepped on their foot, and you were the one who was being sarcastic and mean. We are all experiencing life for the first time, so why should we all give in to you?"
Jiang Sisi looked at Qian Duoduo with a wronged expression and said, "I, I didn't!"
Qian Duoduo: "Jiang Sisi, I have a bad temper and I don't tolerate being treated like a princess. You'll get back at me the way you treated me. We're both living our first lives, so why should I give in to you? Don't think you can act recklessly in front of me just because you and my third brother were once a couple. I don't have a good temper with everyone."
Jiang Sisi looked rather unpleasant as she listened to Qian Duoduo's words. She noticed that everyone around her was staring at her, bit her lip, and pondered what she should do.
Qian Duoduo looked at her pretentious act and said, "We have different paths, so we can't work together. You may dislike me, but you may not like me either. Wouldn't it be more carefree for us to go our separate ways? Why be so aggressive and waste your breath only to become annoying? You have too much free time, but I'm very busy and don't have time to play with you."
I don't think I have the good temper to tolerate your tantrums. There are very few true friends in this world; even if you had a good relationship with many people before, they may eventually become familiar strangers.
Jiang Sisi looked at Qian Duoduo in front of her. How come she never noticed that Qian Duoduo was so eloquent before? No, she had experienced it herself. Back when she was feeling sorry for herself because her parents were divorced and no one paid attention to her, it was Qian Duoduo who sat by her bedside and comforted her. Even back then, Qian Duoduo was already very eloquent.
Qian Duoduo continued, "Look at you now, you're not good at anything. Why should anyone beg you to be with you? Isn't love always a matter of mutual consent? One argument can turn into eternal indifference. There is no absolute love in this world. Whether you cherish it or not is your business."
Hearing Qian Duoduo's words, Jiang Sisi took a step back, shook her head, and said, "Qian Mao said he would take care of me!"
Qian Duoduo looked at her and said, "Then don't you think about it? Are you still the same person he liked? My third brother said that when he first saw you, your carefree smile seemed to have no worries, like a ray of sunshine shining into his heart. But slowly, your sunny smile disappeared, and you wore a mask of fake smiles. You tried to please people, but when you were trying to please them, you always put yourself on a moral high ground. Did you ever think about how others felt? You want the whole world to revolve around you, but are you the sun?"
"Look at you, you look like you could be blown away by a gust of wind. You seem devastated by my words, but deep down you're plotting how to get back at me!" He finished with a sneer, "To be honest, I really loathe you right now. Just seeing you makes me feel nauseous."
Qian Duoduo turned and left, leaving Jiang Sisi standing there in a daze. Was Qian Mao really so open with his younger sister, Qian Duoduo? She knew so many things that she herself didn't know. Her smile was like sunshine. She turned her head to look at her reflection in the glass not far away, her smile unnatural. The more she smiled, the more fiercely her tears flowed. She covered her face with her hands, squatted on the ground, and cried.
Qian Duoduo paced around Houji Garden, feeling agitated. All she could think about was her third brother's forlorn expression and the smell of his cigarettes. Her third brother used to smoke, but he always claimed it was just for social occasions, and he always looked clean and fresh. But this time, she could clearly smell a strong nicotine odor, something that couldn't have lingered after just one or two times. That's why she had been so rude earlier.
When Jiang Sisi returned to her dormitory with red eyes, she saw the dormitory supervisor and the security captain already waiting downstairs. When she saw the security captain, she immediately lowered her head and tried to leave quickly.
"Jiang Sisi, wait a moment." The dormitory supervisor's eyes turned cold as she saw Jiang Sisi trying to leave like a quail, and she shouted loudly.
Hearing the shout, the students in the dormitory immediately came out and saw Jiang Sisi with red eyes and a wronged look on her face.
Some classmates who knew Jiang Sisi scoffed when they saw everyone saying that the dormitory supervisor was too fierce and made the girl cry. They said, "Oh, the dormitory supervisor just asked her to wait a moment, how is that fierce? Do you expect her to greet you with a smile? Who do you think she is?"
Upon hearing this, everyone fell silent, even the little girl who had just been somewhat indignant stopped talking.
Everyone's eyes were looking down.
The security captain stepped forward and said, "Jiang Sisi, we received a report from Qian Duoduo that her closet and bed sheet were damaged for no reason. Please come with us to the security team to cooperate with the investigation."
Jiang Sisi said, "What does this have to do with me?"
The security captain said, "As her roommate, how can you be so indifferent to her affairs?"
Jiang Sisi said, "I didn't break her things."
The security captain said, "We're just cooperating with the investigation. Right now, it's just being handled within the school. If it gets reported to the police station, things won't look so good." After all, they don't have law enforcement power; they can only investigate.
Jiang Sisi was aware of this, so she ignored them and walked into the dormitory building. After climbing a few steps, she said, "You don't have law enforcement power, so you have no right to make me cooperate." Then she left.
The security captain and the dormitory supervisor exchanged helpless glances. Finally, the security captain found Qian Duoduo at Houji Garden and told her what Jiang Sisi had said. Qian Duoduo replied, "I understand. Thank you, you've worked hard."
