Qian Mao went to see Jiang Sisi one last time. When he came out of the detention center, he looked terrible. When he arrived at the university, he saw Qian Duoduo, looked at her carefully, sighed, and then reached out to pat her head, saying, "I never imagined you had suffered so much!"
Qian Duoduo looked at her third brother seriously: "You went to see her?"
Qian Mao nodded: "Yes, I didn't expect you to suffer so much for me. You know, my little sister has never been one to suffer in silence!"

Lu Fen felt Qian Duoduo loosen her grip, sighed, and said, "What's more important than being arrogant? To avoid failing, Duoduo is my sister!"
Lu Yuan smiled and secretly gave Qian Duoduo a thumbs up. Qian Duoduo smiled back!
When Lu Yuan learned that Qian Duoduo also planned to pursue a master's degree, he nodded in agreement. As long as Qian Duoduo was in Harbin, he would have a chance too.
However, winter vacation arrived, and Lu Yuan and Lu Fen picked up Lu Qing and her husband, along with their child Miao Miao, and went to Beijing together.
Qian Mao picked up Qian Duoduo and Qian Gui and they went back to Beian Village together.
Qian Gui is no longer the small temporary worker he was when he first arrived in Harbin. Through his own efforts, he has not only gained the appreciation of his superiors, but also become a purchasing agent for a department store because of his abilities.
It could be considered a triumphant return home. He had his hair neatly cut and was wearing a bread-sleeved coat that had been transported from the south, along with a pair of cotton-padded leather shoes that were rarely seen in the village. It was said that these came from the south and were lined with white wool. He also brought new clothes for everyone in the family, and he didn't forget his two little nephews. In particular, he brought a new schoolbag for Qian Yi'an, which made Wu Qiaoling feel jealous again!
The villagers were quite surprised to see that Qian was so wealthy. When they learned that he worked at a department store, word spread quickly, and many families with daughters came to the Qian family to chat with He Ying.

Zhen Qiao had been waiting here for almost a day, her feet were frozen stiff. If it weren't for the desire to go to the city and live a better life, instead of eating meager meals at home and being disliked by her family, she would still have come.
When Qian Gui saw that it was Zhen Qiao, his expression turned somewhat unpleasant. He tried to leave on his bicycle, but Zhen Qiao immediately blocked his way: "Qian Gui!"
