Chapter 345 Qian Duoduo: The group arrives in Guangzhou!

After Zhang Muyao told Qian Mao about changing the bed, Qian Mao looked at the old man and then at the young man sitting upright in the side seat.

Because there were two soldiers in his family, he had a natural affinity for soldiers. He pulled Zhang Muyao to sit down and chatted with the old man for a few minutes, but he felt that the old man was not simple.

The two hit it off as they chatted. Although the old man boarded the train in Fuzhou, he was not from Fujian Province. Although his tone of voice had a slight southern accent, it was not the same. After chatting for a while, they learned that the old man's ancestral home was in Shandong Province. He had been serving in the army in Guangdong Province. Perhaps because of his longing for his hometown, he had never been able to change his accent.

Later on, he achieved a certain position, but now that he's older and retired, he's going to Guangdong Province to see his daughter, son-in-law, and two great-grandchildren.

Qian Mao was filled with respect upon hearing the old man's words, especially after learning that his son-in-law was also in the military. He smiled and said, "Actually, two of my older brothers are serving in the military."

Wei Xiang smiled and said to Qian Mao, "I didn't expect you to be from a military family. That's great, very great!"

Qian Mao smiled and said, "Our family is from the countryside, so we have a lot of children. When we were little, we were almost starving. My eldest and second eldest brothers joined the army to ease the burden on the family. They received stipends and sent them back to help us younger siblings with our education. We are very grateful to them for all these years they've been away, and we also feel sorry for them." Wei Xiang smiled and said, "Your family are all good kids. People who know how to be grateful are never bad off." Qian Mao smiled and glanced at Zhang Mengyao, who was reading a book nearby, and said, "Yes." "People who know how to be grateful are never unlucky," Wei Xiang smiled at Qian Mao's actions. Being older, he didn't have much interest in chatting, so he tidied up and lay down on his berth to sleep. For safety reasons, Qian Mao didn't let Qian Mengyao stay in the lower berth but instead sent her to the middle berth. He told her to call him if she needed anything. Qian Mengyao thought about it; she had been reading on the train and was quite tired, so she took off her shoes. She made up the bed with her wallet in the middle berth and then lay down. He closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep with the clatter of the train. Xiao Bao rested for a while on his berth, and soon after, when he returned to the KTV, it was already dinnertime. The young man who had come with Wei Xiang, wearing a copper coin hat, went to buy food. Zhang Mengyao, who was in front of him, saw Mr. No. Wei Xiang sitting in the bathroom when she woke up. Looking out the window, she got off her berth, greeted Wei Xiang, and went to the bathroom. I wanted to watch. This little girl also had a happy smile on her face; she was pretty and polite. Children who love learning are what the elderly like best.

When Qian Mao returned with the boxed lunch, he saw Zhang Mengyao chatting with Wei Xiang.

He placed the boxed lunch on the small dining table, and Zhang Muyao and Wei Xiang didn't touch it but started eating. He and Xiao Qiang sat at the side table. After finishing his meal, he said to Zhang Muyao, "I'm going to my uncle's place. I'll be back in a bit."

Zhang Muyao nodded and sat down on his bunk to chat with Wei Xiang.

Qian Maoze went to the next carriage and said to Jin Kuohao, "Uncle, you haven't come over often."

Jin Kuohao said, "Alright, it's nothing. As long as she hasn't gotten off the bus, what could possibly happen? Just take good care of the young lady. Her parents let her go with you, which shows their trust in you. We, the Qian family, are not irresponsible people."

Qian Mao nodded and said, "Uncle, I understand."

Jin Kuohao said a couple of times, "Does she have a lot of children and her parents don't pay much attention to her?"

Qian Mao shook his head and said, "She's an only child. I've already met her parents. This trip to Guangzhou is because she's never been there before, and also because she wants to meet Duo Duo."

As for Yao Yao's parents, they are both quite busy. "Busy enjoying their time together."

Jin Kuohao nodded and said, "Seeing Duoduo shouldn't be a problem. Our Duoduo is such a smart child!"

When Qian Mao returned to the carriage, he saw Zhang Muyao talking intermittently. He sat down next to her and gently inquired about her health and mood.

Zhang Muyao felt as sweet as if she had drunk honey. She felt that there was nothing wrong with finding a boyfriend who was a little older than her, like Qian Mao, who was a little older than her and was very thoughtful and caring. Many times, she didn't even have to think about it, as he had already arranged many things. This was completely different from going out with her parents.

They spent two days on the train before finally arriving at Guangzhou Railway Station.

After everyone got off the bus, they saw that the Qian brothers and the Jin family were carrying large and small bags. Seven people had come out with a total of eighteen bags. Qian Mao and Zhang Muyao were also very surprised. Qian Mao and Zhang Muyao each took a backpack. Qian Mao immediately took two of the bags. Seeing that there were many people here, Zhang Muyao hurriedly went to Qian Mao's side, afraid that she would be separated from him by the crowd.

Qian Mao smiled as he looked at her, then squeezed Zhang Muyao's small hand tightly in the crook of his arm. The two smiled at each other. The group followed the crowd out, and just as they stepped out of the Guangzhou Railway Station, Qian Mao led them to the side.

"Hey, what are you looking at?"

Upon hearing Qian Yin's roar, Qian Mao immediately turned around and smiled, "A Biao."

Ah Biao and his three companions each waited here for a day, never expecting that they would be the ones with good luck.

Jin Kuohao looked at the man wearing a white tank top, black shorts, and slippers, and thought to himself, "These people aren't all that great; they're dressed so poorly."

Ah Biao had no idea that the older man was secretly criticizing him. You should know that when he went out with his boss, he was also dressed in a suit and tie. Of course, it was just too hot when he was waiting to get married, and he was prone to getting heat rash.

Ah Biao immediately stepped forward, picked up two of their bags, and led them to Qian Duoduo's courtyard near the train station.

After learning about Qian Duoduo's courtyard in Harbin, Jin Kuohao came to this courtyard, which was even bigger than the one in Harbin. He whispered to Qian Mao, "Why does Duoduo like buying courtyards so much?"

Qian Mao said with a smile, "Duoduo has business here, so she can't always stay in a guesthouse. It's better to have a courtyard."

Upon hearing this, Jin Kuohao nodded. What he said made sense. After all, the guesthouse was a mixed place, and it was indeed not safe for a girl to be alone.

After looking around, Jin Kuohao didn't see Qian Duoduo, so he asked, "Where's my Duoduo? Why isn't she here?"

Ah Biao said, "Xingsheng Textile Factory has woven a new type of cloth today, she's going to take a look."

Jin Kuohao finally showed some guts; his niece was a big boss!
