The next day, Qian Xiang took Guo Ni to the county hospital. After a series of examinations, it was confirmed that Guo Ni was two months pregnant and the baby was healthy. This put the newlywed couple at ease. Qian Xiang even asked the doctor about precautions during pregnancy, which made the doctor smile. He then asked if she wanted anything else to eat, but Guo Ni shook her head and said, "I don't want to. How about we buy some vegetables and go back so my parents can have something better?"
Qian Xiang nodded and said, "I'll go, you sit down."
When Qian Xiang returned, he saw two people standing in front of Guo Ni, one of whom was Jiang Caiqin. He walked over quickly and heard Jiang Caiqin say, "Nini, let's sit down for a bit."
Qian Xiang said, "Wife, I'm back."
When Jiang Caiqin saw Qian Xiang, her eyes lit up. Qian Xiang had performed exceptionally well during the autumn harvest this year.
