Chapter 432 Qian Duoduo: I want to buy a shop!

Wen Yugui carried the child out of the house and slowly walked to her mother-in-law Jin Jinxiu's side. Watching Liu Fen's departing figure, she turned to Jin Jinxiu and asked curiously, "Mom, what do you think Liu Fen is doing coming to our house?"

Jin Jinxiu stared at the gate for a while, then frowned and said, "I don't know what she's up to, but judging from her shifty eyes, she's definitely not thinking anything good."

Wen Yugui nodded thoughtfully and said, "Shouldn't we talk to our younger sister and tell her to keep an eye on Liu Fen?"

Jin Jinxiu nodded in agreement, and said with some heartache, "Duoduo will only be at home for a few days, and now she has to deal with these people."

Meanwhile, Qian Duoduo had already arrived in Shangzhi County by bicycle. She first went to the state-run restaurant, and as soon as she entered, she saw a familiar figure—Master Nan. The two hadn't seen each other for many years, and they were both extremely happy to reunite. Master Nan was especially excited and immediately asked someone to find Fatty Wang, planning for the three of them to have a good drink together.

When Fatty Wang heard that Qian Duoduo had returned, he was first taken aback, then smiled and went to the state-run restaurant. The two greeted each other after meeting, and the three of them chatted while eating, especially with the help of Chef Nan's delicious meal. Fatty Wang was amazed by Qian Duoduo's boldness in opening a clothing store in Beijing, and he confided his dissatisfaction with his current job to her.

After pouring Wang Pangzi a glass of wine, Qian Duoduo told him her idea: "Uncle Wang, you have extensive connections in the county. Could you help me find a shop facing the street? I'm interested in buying it."

Upon hearing this, Fatty Wang's eyes widened, and he asked in surprise, "You want to buy the shop?"

Qian Duoduo looked at him and nodded firmly.

Fatty Wang and Master Nan exchanged a glance. Master Nan continued eating with his head down, remaining silent. After a while, Fatty Wang looked up, pondered for a moment, and then slowly said, "Currently, it seems that only the land near the lumber mill in our county is open for sale. I haven't heard of any other shops for sale."

Upon hearing this, Qian Duoduo couldn't help but ask curiously, "Where is the land for the lumber mill?"

Fatty Wang continued, "It's not far from Shangzhi Railway Station. I heard that the dust and pollutants generated by the lumber mill were too much, polluting the surrounding environment, so the government plans to move it to the suburbs. But the place is still vacant. And the price the county government is asking for isn't low."

Upon hearing this, Qian Duoduo immediately thought of going to find Wen Yuzhu later to check the price of the land. She had an immature idea, and then chatted with Fatty Wang and Master Nan. As she was about to leave, Qian Duoduo said, "Uncle Wang, could you also help me with that shop thing I mentioned? I really want to buy one."

When Fatty Wang heard Qian Duoduo's words, he nodded and said, "Okay, if there is any, I'll keep an eye out for it for you."

Qian Duoduo nodded, thought for a moment, and then said, "Uncle Wang, give me your phone number. I'll call you when I get back to Harbin, and we can exchange contact information. If you have any good news, remember to contact me anytime." Fatty Wang smiled, nodded, and left his home phone number. Then, slightly tipsy, he left.

Looking at Qian Duoduo, who was also preparing to leave, Master Nan couldn't help but ask, "Are you really planning to buy the land near the lumber mill?"

Qian Duoduo sighed softly and said slowly, "I haven't decided yet. I just feel that this might be an opportunity, but I'm also a little uncertain."

Master Nan continued, "I've heard that quite a few people are interested in that piece of land."

Qian Duoduo nodded in agreement: "Yes, I have the same concerns, which is why I hesitated."

Master Nan nodded, put his hands behind his back, and went back to his kitchen to find a place to take a nap.

Qian Duoduo frowned slightly, got on his bicycle, and slowly rode towards the lumber mill.

When she arrived at a place some distance from the lumber mill, she stopped the car, put one foot on the ground, and stood there quietly, her gaze falling on the lumber mill not far away, where people were busy moving things.

Qian Duoduo carefully examined the surrounding environment and terrain, thinking to himself, "The location here is quite good. If I could really take it over and build a market here, the business would surely be booming."

At the same time, she was also very clear that the current level of development of the individual economy was far from sufficient, and realizing such a plan would probably require some time. After all, the number of self-employed individuals in society is relatively small, and market demand has not yet been fully stimulated.

She remembered that as the 1990s approached, the private economy would experience a boom, with streets and alleys filled with all sorts of small vendors. The thought of these vibrant and lively scenes reignited Qian Duoduo's entrepreneurial passion, especially the feeling of pride in doing it from home.

And so, a bold and novel idea gradually emerged in her mind. However, the most crucial step in turning this idea into reality was successfully acquiring the land before her! As for how exactly to proceed to achieve this goal, after much deliberation, Qian Duoduo finally thought of a vital figure…

Now that the idea had taken root in her mind, Qian Duoduo acted without hesitation. She pushed her bicycle and slowly circled the outer perimeter of the lumberyard. Along the way, she carefully observed her surroundings, her gaze focused and sharp, as if trying to imprint every inch of the land deeply into her mind.
