Chapter 441 Qian Duoduo: Teacher, I'm getting married!

After Lu Yuan left, Qian Duoduo quickly threw herself into intense exam preparation. At first, she thought the exam would be a piece of cake, something she could easily handle. But as she delved deeper into her studies, she gradually realized that the scope of this exam was far greater than she had imagined.

When the exam bell rang, Qian Duoduo sat down and quickly glanced at the questions on the paper. She couldn't help but gasp, secretly relieved that she knew all the answers. When she looked up and saw Professor Yuan, the proctor sitting upright on the podium, she couldn't help but feel secretly pleased.

The person in charge of this postgraduate entrance exam was none other than his old mentor! Thinking of this, Qian Duoduo felt a surge of relief: Hehe, it's so great to have a professor personally overseeing the exam! Not for any other reason than that his professor had highlighted a lot of important points for him!

Professor Yuan sat calmly on the podium, leisurely savoring the fragrant tea. This was top-quality tea sent by that brat Qian Duoduo; it had a very mellow taste. The department head had asked for some many times, but he hadn't been willing to part with it, only letting him have a little at most.

As Professor Yuan savored the aroma of the tea, he muttered to himself, "Sigh, if it weren't for that brat Qian Duoduo, I wouldn't have done something so unethical. But the taste of this tea is truly exceptional, much better than the ones I bought for myself before, or even the ones I just grabbed from home."

Even though he was speaking ill of Qian Duoduo in his heart, it didn't stop Professor Yuan from appreciating the tea. He took a sip of the tea, and his satisfied expression seemed to show that he was completely immersed in the charm of the tea.

Sitting below, Qian Duoduo wrote furiously and quickly began answering the questions. After finishing, she calmly and carefully checked her test paper, verifying it word by word and sentence by sentence, not overlooking any detail. After a thorough check and confirming that there were no mistakes, Qian Duoduo then put the test paper and pen neatly away and quietly waited for the bell to ring to signal the end of the exam.

Just as the bell rang, Qian Duoduo grinned at Professor Yuan, who immediately turned his head away. This girl, I can't bear to look at her!

Three days later, the exam results were announced, and Qian Duoduo graduated with the highest score.

Professor Yuan introduced her to several other senior students, and some of them teased her, saying, "Our junior sister has graduated, we should definitely treat her to a celebration."

Upon hearing this, Professor Yuan immediately waved his hand and said, "That's right, Duoduo should be invited as a guest."

Qian Duoduo quickly stepped forward and said, "Five words floated down from the sky, that's no big deal, teacher, what would you like to eat?"

Professor Yuan suddenly felt a pang of nostalgia for that sweet and innocent little girl. Little did he know that in the past two years, she had become quite mischievous. However, this did not hinder his choice of venue. He readily waved his hand and said, "Then let's go with Manhanlou."

The other senior students' eyes lit up. Manhanlou was the most famous restaurant in the area, and its prices were much higher than those of state-run restaurants. The key point was that the food was especially delicious.

Qian Duoduo had heard of Manhanlou before, so she nodded and said, "Okay, then let's go with Manhanlou."

Professor Yuan knew that Qian Duoduo was not short of money, so after finalizing the dinner arrangements, he took his teacup and walked out of the office first.

One of the senior students, who was following behind, noticed the black cup in Professor Yuan's hand and said curiously to Liang Kun beside him, "The cup in the professor's hand is so special."

Liang Kun glanced at it and said, "This cup was brought back from the South by Duo Duo. It even has our professor's name engraved on it. The professor treasures it now and won't let anyone touch it."

Walking among her senior classmates, Qian Duoduo overheard their conversation and chuckled to herself. This cup was something she and Su Ruanruan had bought; it cost them a lot of gold coins, which, converted to Chinese currency, would be worth two or three hundred yuan now. Especially since it had inscriptions on it, which was why Professor Yuan liked it. Qian Duoduo felt her gift was well worth it; otherwise, how could she have gotten first place?

"This teacup is truly exquisite!" the senior student exclaimed, a look of envy in his eyes.

“That’s right, Duoduo is really thoughtful,” another senior brother chimed in.

Upon hearing this, Professor Yuan smiled with satisfaction. He gently stroked the teacup in his hand, thinking to himself: This apprentice really knows how to be grateful.

The food at Manhanlou was excellent. After a satisfying meal, everyone said their goodbyes. Professor Yuan, slightly tipsy, carried his teapot, humming a little tune, and walked home contentedly.

Qian Duoduo and Liang Kun escorted Professor Yuan home before happily leaving. She knew that her first-place finish wasn't just due to her own efforts, but also inseparable from Professor Yuan's guidance and help. In her future doctoral studies, she would study even harder and live up to her teacher's expectations.

When Qian Duoduo woke up, the sun was shining brightly. What's a perfect day like this? Of course, it's to ask her doctoral advisor, Professor Yuan, for leave!

She packed her things, tossed them into the farm space, locked both doors, and then rushed into the campus like a gust of wind, with a clear goal—heading straight for Professor Yuan's office.

There was a knock on the door of Professor Yuan's office in the Department of Agronomy, and Qian Duoduo's energetic figure appeared at the door.

"Professor Yuan!" As soon as Qian Duoduo entered, she cheerfully poured water into Professor Yuan's teacup, placed it on his desk, and said, "I've come to tell you something. I'm planning to go back to Shangzhi!"

Professor Yuan, sitting at his desk, didn't show much surprise upon hearing Qian Duoduo's words. He simply nodded slightly and calmly said, "Well, since you've made up your mind, then go ahead. But don't forget to submit your one-month observation report, and come back to visit this old man from time to time." After saying that, he lowered his head and continued processing the documents in his hands.
